That's how it should be, if this table is to imitate playing the real one. I don't think Farsight has ever changed a Wizard goal before, but I would say the way it works now is a bug - and bugs should be fixed.
Of course they are; which is why I added my differing opinion to the mix. I don't want to see a focus solely on new tables, which many seem to ask for in this thread. That doesn't even make business sense if an EM table like Big Shot is really the most played. But I trust that Farsight looks at...
I don't get why so many here seem to want new tables recreated. Since the days of the Williams & Gottlieb Hall of Fame games, Farsight's mission to me has always been about recreating the classics and making them more widely available to both new generations who have never had a chance to play...
Ah yes, the Williams collection on PS3... I spent way too many hours on that! I remember being really satisfied with completing the spinner wizard goal on Space Shuttle, which seems almost impossible to do on one ball (and which I still haven't done on Pinball Arcade PS4). And I struggled a long...
Well, I'm down to the last...
After close to 60 tokens in total, I think. Don't know the exact number because I've spent around 20 on Assault on the Vault to earn VAULT letters. I just backed out of the table once when the left ball lock started to bug, otherwise the PS4 has just been waiting...
Yes, next to 70's EM's, System 11's are my absolute favorites. My picks from the poll would be Transporter, Transporter and Transporter! And, oh yeah, Rollergames too.
Yes, I updated and the tokens are still there! Thanks for your contributions!
I had that happen on Black Knight after getting the high score wizard goal - didn't register in the local top 5 (even though it would have been the highest) nor on the online leaderboards. But that was on v. 1.23 EU...
If you chose a valid code, you get whatever they correspond to. You can read about them in the gameplay instructions. The three I mentioned awards a VAULT letter, and VAULT upon completion will start Token Multiball instead of Vault Multiball after you complete the boardgame.
Have a look at this gameplay video:
As you can clearly see, before entering the vault I am on 2X bonus, and coming out of the vault after starting token multiball, I am correctly on 3X - but the wizard goal for reaching 5X is awarded anyway. (At the 1:13 mark). This happened because of...
Thanks for the update Tom, that's good news. I was hoping for a Sorcerer fix too, but there's always the next update (right??).
Edit: You said this in another thread:
So, is it fixed, and just accidentally omitted from the changelog?
Also, before I update... I just have a few tokens left to...
It just happened once on the PS4, and I hope it doesn't happen again. I didn't have more than about 25 tokens in total before the wipe, but if I had worked my way up to 500 in search of the silver, I'd be pretty pissed...
The dog is easy to restart the boardgame from, if you don't already have...
I'm up to 20 unique tokens now after a total of 32 won, but i finally had to back out of the table and reload it because of a bug that started to affect the Getaway kickout. It would take between 15-20 seconds before it kicked out any ball that landed in it, without scoring a Getaway, but ball...
I just spent some time going for tokens on PS4 v.1.23. I had never seriously gone for that wizard goal earlier after reading about how hard it is to get that elusive silver coin - and since the second to last update wiped out all won tokens it was obviously for the best. But now I decided to try...
On the newest version (1.23) I played Red & Ted's Road Show and activated "Super Payday" twice in the same game, but the corresponding wizard goal didn't pop. That has to be a bug, right? And one you wouldn't notice if you've already completed this wizard goal in an earlier update.
Yeah, I really wish that would be implemented. I watched a youtube video of someone playing Pinball Arcade's El Dorado on PC yesterday and was pleasantly surprised the flippers had the same hum as a real EM. Why would the PC version have it but not the PS4?? Please add this to a list of fixes...
In this video* it's clear that the game registers my 1,090,560 score as 90,560. The real score was not saved to the local high score board, nor to the online leaderboard that still shows my previous score below 1 million points as my highest.
I assume this is a bug, because looking at the...
Right, you will leave the pin for 8 hours after you lock a ball, to go to sleep or continue going about your day - as one of the frequent top scorers has admitted to doing on this very forum? No, he'd hit pause for that. Also, you certainly wouldn't be able to do that in a real pinball arcade...
That right there is reason enough for a score wipe. If you put 10 hours into a game, you will undoubtedly have paused for breaks many times. This is supposed to be a pinball simulator, and obviously in real life you can't pause when you play a pinball game. I think Pinball Arcade should be...
