Update's out on iOS. Fixed: slow DMD display, slow initials, now properly displays disturbing golfer butt before game. Not fixed: volcano/SKINS! bug.

I just stopped by the Pacific Pinball Museum in Alameda where they have a CPUB, and I played a few games. I gotta say, this table is far easier in real life, or at least their table was. You can actually trap the ball from many of the shots! I hit the yellow target next to the stairs on the left...

Love the ramp on the right that leads through the bumpers and feeds the ball into... Somewhere on the middle playfield I guess. (Edit: actually I guess they don't have the inlane/outlanes in the photo) What is the upper half of the field supposed to be? Highway to the Pink Chiffon?

More like Haunted Houseballs. Hey what is the ball hitting when you're trying to trap on the left side of the attic? Doesn't seem like there's anything there but I seem to hit a sling or something when I trap up.

Gotcha, thanks. Can you rock the volcano multiple times on a real-world table? That kindof smells like a bug in the ROM.

How do you actually pick up the letters in SKINS!? The instructions lay out what it does but never how to actually get them. I like the table, probably more than HH. Nice substitute for NGG I guess, since the opaque ramps in the latter on iOS make it way more frustrating that it should be.

Doesn't work on the iPad. It's a bug -- you can't scale a pic to use as a wallpaper. Supposedly there's some very particular dimensions you can crop to to get around it but even there I'm not having much luck.

Dunno, so far TPA seems identical in iOS 7 to me as it did in iOS 6 on my iPad 3. Now what IS broken is choosing a photo for a wallpaper on the home screen, all stuttery and won't scale images. Argh. As for the overall look... eh whatever I'll live.

After playing a few games I can confirm that TPA runs just as well on 7 as it did on 6 on my iPad 3. I can also confirm that I still really, really suck at CPUB.

Well it's starting to turn into a thing more for the T&S thread but about half the time when I hit the ringmaster the ball heads for the right slingshot too fast for a nudge to get it away and that's what kills me likely as not.

I dunno, seems slower to me. Then again the right orbit still comes back too fast to trap and reshoot so...

Yeah, only bugs I run into are the cannon shooting out of the backglass and the camera not going to the plunger on the first highwire (so no skill shot). I just can't get a consistent return off the ringmaster.

Didnt make the cut, ah well. I like Cirqus but have trouble keeping comtrol after ringmaster shots, and apart from Centaur my other scores were okay but nothing spectacular.
