I knew I smelled something ****ty. Norm got out while the gettin was good before the licenses left. Good for him likely a good excuse to retire as opposed to having to look for work elsewhere.
Cabinet support settings and features are already in on the Steam version but it's asking for a code when you try to run the game with them. Why exactly would I pay $150 for a code? Farsight told us for over 5 years they were working on cabinet support...now all of the sudden it's a 3rd party...
Well Farsight has at least announced that there will be a season 8 which will include all of the unreleased tables from Stern Pinball Arcade plus a couple of un-announced ones. After that it's anyone's guess. They have a couple of projects they are working on outside of TPA plus plans to...
Norm was their sound engineer, producer, and worked on the actual pinball machines themselves. Farsight has nearly always gave hints about next months tables..now suddenly there isn't one. Coincidence? Someone from Farsight care to alleviate my concerns about us getting a table next month?
I can tell you why I'm not all that interested in Freddy. Because I've seen a virtual table created for that license that beats the hell out of the real one. Granted it's not reality based in any way but I don't care because it's the Freddy table I always wanted.
I'm not saying I wouldn't...
Another year without TFTC. /sigh Is the license really that difficult to obtain? It isn't due to a lack of desire on the part of the fans that's for sure.
I've never had to restart my iPhone's over the years when I first buy them after I install TPA. Must be a known Android thing, it worked. Before the restart it would crash constantly until eventually I couldn't even get to the main screen, it would just auto crash.
Hey guys - I recently decided to buy a phone for development/rom'ing. I'm running stock Marshmallow 6.0.1 with the latest updates installed for the moment.
Bug: When I try to launch Pinball Arcade it crashes instantly.
Expected result: For the game to launch and allow me to play pinball...
And your point being? So they didn't borrow them, but they didn't buy them which was my point. PAPA likely has one or if not they'd have a lead to one that could be photographed. Absolutely no need to buy one.
Thank goodness Farsight doesn't have to actually own the table to re-create it. They've borrowed tables in the past from the pinball museum in Vegas so they could do it again for Big Bang Bar. I'm looking forward to this one as well. My guess is they're saving it for a rainy day or something. :)
Hopefully they don't try to charge "coins" to play. Also hoping we see more than a mobile release because while mobiles fun, I need a joystick of some kind for serious play. I'd also hate to be forced into a tiny screen all the time.
Hello fellow pinball fans! Did any of you ever listen to Art Bell in the 90's on the radio? I always thought it was entertaining and was bummed when Art decided to retire. Well, it seems after all these years he's decided to spend the last of his years doing a podcast / radio show. This time...
Well Safe Cracker has Bob and rentals right on the back box so I don't really see the room for debate here. My question though is are they going to put the machine in "timed mode" or "ball mode". By default Safe Cracker was shipped in timed mode. Timed mode is just what it sounds like, you...
