Star Trek TNG is set to release Worldwide on March 20th. I guess I was under the impression because Farsight didn't specify what the codes were for and because I was also under the impression that backers would be playing the tables before everyone else, that these had to be for Star Trek. So...
Just curious if anyone here has received their code? Here's a quote from the newsletter:
"We have sent out the Kickstarter Redemption codes to ALL Kickstarter PSN accounts. If you have not received a code and were due one, please email kickstarter@farsightstudios.com."
These are more of requests then they are a priority of issues I'd like to see resolved. I've been hoping for customizable mapping support since launch, please make it a priority.
1. Customizable controls for every platform.
2. Controller support for OS X & when it's available Windows...
You need a 360 controller as the button presses do not correspond to keyboard keys. Press Y for the normal in-game menu, and B for the debug menu. Beyond this you'll need to figure it out on your own, as I didn't post this here to help people exploit the bug.
The Mac version of this app still has the debug mode built in. I created another video to go along with my report.
Accessing some of the features in debug makes the app crash. I'm assuming this is a result of not being able to access
resources required for the developer engine.
I'm having the same issue with horribly low quality sound. I continue to buy tables, but I'm beginning to think nostalgia is causing me to go against my better judgement. I want to support FarSight, but they've gotta give me something to work with! C'mon guys! You've had since April!
So far I've purchased all the tables for OS X to support FarSight. However, they've had since April to fix all the bugs and right now they fix one thing and break something else. Not to mention we still don't have customizable controls or any resemblance of a real Mac app. I understand iOS...
Unfortunately this isn't the case for everyone. The app still locks up at comparing scores on Facebook regardless of whether I choose yes or no. Clicking the "hall of fame scores" button crashes the app entirely. There is still frame rate issues with all the tables regardless of whether I...
I noticed quite a few bugs while playing tonight, including the frame rate issue (which of course I emailed a report about). This horrible iOS port really needs to be developed from the ground up. I've been begging for customizable controls and in-game tweaks from the beginning.
Many publishers offer cross platform games. Meaning if you buy for the PC you automatically get the Mac version on Steam as well. I've been wondering if FarSight plans to go this route, as it'll be perfect for folks like me that have both. As it is I already buy all the tables for iOS, 360...
I noticed they have anisotropic filtering turned off be default for the actors in the debug menu. I turned it on and restarted, it helps a bit. I uploaded some of the images here.
I discovered this bug after downloading the new tables. It's actually a bug I'd like to see stay in the game though. Here's a craptastic video of it that I made. I wish I could tell you which keys I'm hitting to cause this to happen. However I'm using a 360 controller that's only partially...
Yeah between delayed tables and no PC release, the public attitude is kind of low. I wish I could think of something exciting we could do to get people pumped. Hmmmm...I wonder if game casting is possible on the Mac through one of these websites. Maybe justin.tv?
At the end of the day people are going to buy the tables whether it's late or not. This just guarantees them the tables when they are released. And as with any other season pass, FarSight would let us know how many tables we would get with the pass, so it's not like we're being cheated or...
Since this type of execution has been so successful with other franchises, I'm sure it would be a winner for TPA. What say you? I think $60+ for a summer of DLC sounds fair, maybe a few other small perks. Anyone got some suggestions for prices and digital perks?
I'd like to see a collectors edition come out for this. I'd be willing to pay $60+ for some cool goodies to go along with all the tables. Of course I'm referring to digital goodies like table add-ons or well let your imagination run wild with it. It would also be great to have some small...
