I get where you're coming from. We're cool as far as I'm concerned, I just want them to try to get us not only the best tables possible, but a really cool array of examples (1sts/landmarks, oddities, other makers) that go along with their "preserving pinball" theme, and to not just lineup 40...
Honestly, there are a bunch of tables I would rather see first, but I do totally agree it is worthy and I would like to see it on TPA in the relatively near future (regardless of what a real one sells for).
Speculation is speculation. Sometimes deals get done even against the longest of odds. Until FS says yes or no, all the common sense in the world doesn't mean we will 100% for sure not get table X. And a thread speculating about what we won't get tells anyone from FS looking that we don't expect...
$4k is a joke. When I look at the Pinside average I add either $400 ship or 9.3% sales tax ('cause of where live), and then $200-$300 if the machine has been LEDed. I doubt even one with a top-tier restoration would fetch $4k. I'd be looking for one in excellent player's condition, as I would...
I say shoot for the replay on real pins, not the high score list, or the score you got on TPA and you'll be happy. The real thing is so much better than even the best simulation/recreation (TPA), so just have fun.
I don't want to speculate, I want Farsight to tell us which tables just won't happen, so we can know, and make our peace with them, and not wonder forever.
Amen, superballs. The Getaway: High Speed II is an absolute essential pin. Hopefully a midi version of "La Grande" by ZZ Top won't screw up our chances. Doesn't seem like it should.
100% on board for The Getaway being on TPA. It, Fish Tales and White Water are the most obvious tables that we...
FANTASTIC TABLE. The billion point shot is one of the greatest rewards for good play, and good luck, in all of pinball. So is the metamorphosis.
The things some people feel the need to complain about. "This Ferrari is too beautiful." "Misty & Kerry never lose in the Olympics." "NBA players...
Okay so,
COULD HAPPEN: White Water & Fish Tales
COULD HAPPEN 2: Champion Pub & Cactus Canyon
TOTAL DREAM: TRON LE & Wizard Of OZ LE
MARVEL DREAM: Black Spider-Man & X-Men Wolverine
TOTAL DREAM 2: AC/DC LE & LOTR LE
ICONS DREAM: Addams & Indy
IF YOU DID ONE... THAT COULD HAPPEN: Elvira and...
I went GNR, Tommy, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Trek, and Phantom.
Would also love to see Crypt, Star Wars, Time Machine (no license, very cool table for 1988), LAH, Batman, Hook, and JP.
Dennis Nordman did design both Elvira tables, and has been announced as the Game Designer on Jersey Jack's second table, so sounds like an AWESOME rumor to me. I'd be all for it.
Now, if only I could afford one...
When did Doctor Who get so popular? It's not really rated that highly on the big sites, and after watching video of it, checking out pictures and such, I'm just not too worried about if I ever get to play it. Certainly not like I want a 1st try at Scared Stiff, Indianapolis 500, Congo...
As someone who waited FOREVER for just the first two table packs to hit the 360, I find the idea that they are expanding too fast absolutely ludicrous. Do I want to see fixes happen faster? HELL YES. Do I want them to actually make it to consoles, and not just your phones/tablets? YES. Do I...
I am so #&%$*$@ jealous. I've been feeling the same way, but can't afford a table :( , so I've been going to the arcade like every other weekend.
Damn you , Farsight! :)
I agree, 'shop his face out if his family demands it, it wouldn't be the first time this was done, and it's not disrespectful in my opinion, as it's not going against his wishes. Besides holding up the enjoyment of the world's most popular pinball table for ten/hundreds of thousands of people...
