a few things I noticed that causes slow down
windowed mode slows it down, full screen runs fine
video based programs running will slow it down. having quicktime running slowed it down. seems like having a youtube page open slowed it down as well
I also noticed having a browser open loaded full...
This happened to me as well.
I just left it flickering for quite awhile, before finally canceling.
When I tried to update again, it said everything was up to date.
No idea if Junkyard was updated or not
F11 = Show Desktop
or
Command + TAB = Switch Application
followed by Force Quit TPA in Apple menu or ctrl/option + click TPA in dock.
More convenient to shutting down and then rebooting. :)
It's just a small app bug, not BSOD
I have a MacBook Pro with Mavericks and haven't encountered this...
I'm confused what Table of the Month is.
I thought it was free play for a particular table that month.
Is the current Table of the Month - Victory or Tee'd Off?
At either rate, neither are free play
I'm currently using the latest mac version (3.5.0).
Or is Table of the Month not for mac...
Sorry, but that is not what they said.
The Question was how many tables were left in Season 3, after going to look it up and returning, it was said there was 5 tables left, followed by, there was enough time left to get TAF in season 3. They didn't bring anything up about Kickstarter
An Addams Family thread should be sticky'd - this one will probably do.
It's something everyone wants to know - but the assumption is everyone already knows
A sticky will help people that doesn't follow, inquire to where things currently stand
During the webcast for Highspeed, they mentioned...
There has been a few occasions where I launch TPA and play, when ever I use either flipper, it nudges the table up.
I can nudge up over and over without tilting, but soon as I touch either nudge left or right, it tilts.
If I hold one flipper and use the other flipper, it doesn't nudge up.
If...
I found by default it was Off, but once you change it you couldn't turn it back Off.
Off was now like 8x and performance was really poor, so the next best setting was setting it to 2x as it ran a lot better than Off
Deleting the AntiAlias Level Keychain Access (as instructed above) defaulted it...
This worked for me.
While previously Off drastically slowed it down, setting 2x the slow down was minimal and workable
Deleting the key, turned it Off and tables that gave little grief at 2x previously works fine now.
Thanks
I'm also keep getting a dialog:
"Request has timed out"
frequently, when I select a table as well as launch a table.
It's happening with purchased tables and demo tables.
This is also new since 3.4.0 update
I tried re-installing several times
I'm speculating the two issues are connected, thus...
Further insight into this Facebook issue
(Now using OS 10.9.2 and Pinball Arcade 3.3.0)
Upon clicking "Yes" to post High Score On Facebook, the game goes black and locks up, there is a "Connecting to Facebook" dialog at the top.
I've found what is happening.
A Facebook login window opens up...
Even though "Matches" are pointless, I still watch it with anticipation of getting a match
And when there is a match, there is a meaningless small "Yeah".
But it's too bad there's no real gratification of getting a match
Perhaps a match mode option to continue game when you get a match.
Perhaps...
Device/OS: MacBookPro - OS 10.9.1
Bug Description:
1. Game goes black and locks up when posting high score to facebook. (and doesn’t post on facebook either)
2. Game crashes upon completion of game and “updating scoreboard” when playing offline
