It's made by Kaze, the same company that did Super Pinball Behind the Mask SNES, the JP only Super Pinball II Amazing Odyssey SFC, and Last Gladiatiors Saturn. I have both Super Pinballs and I like them both. I definitely plan to get last gladiators. I'm on the fence towards Necronomicon. I...
From what I heard, the Stern version has exact same set of rules, even for the third edition. The main complaint I see on the reviews for all editions is that the ruleset is too shallow.
He still managed to license a Zynga game (Indiana Jones Adventure World) and that Star Wars Brisk Saber promotion, though. If that Brisk Saber thing isn't oversaturating, I don't know what is. That Star Wars Kinect thing is very recent and I heard it's terrible.
I would like Taxi to be paired with Xenon since one has the same name as a video game by coincidence and the other has the same name as an unrelated sitcom. Probably won't happen, though. What about Stern tables? Most are licensed, but what about ones like Grand Prix? Not really the one I want...
There's also a Super Famicom (Japan SNES) only sequel called Jaki Crush. I plan to pick it up. I heard it's not as good as Devil's Crush, but I liked what I have tried of it. It's also super easy to mod a US SNES (I'm in the US, but I'm saying this to prevent confusion, since the EU SNES uses...
Space Invaders wasn't before multiball. Some EMs had it years before and there's even a PM from the 30s with it. According to ipdb, the first machine with electronic multiball, Firepower, predated Space Invaders by two months.
It's all instrumental, but some tunes that can be selected after hitting the ball into that one hole are licensed tunes, though there's some unlicensed music in the mix as well. There's a Frank Sinatra tune in the game too.
Party Zone Promo
~1:57 "And a sound package with player selectable...
What about Party Zone's music? It has a licensed soundtrack, inculding Pinball Wizard from The Who. I would definitely would like to see those tables, as well as some early Bally SS. I hope Gorgar does well. Despite the lack of emulation, it seems to be a good conversion, from what I have played...
Games should be about playability, not only sales. I don't think it will hurt anything if the older tables get released along side the newer tables and the newer tables still get made, as well. It's not like newer ones aren't about points (and I'm not content with playing a game only to beat...
It's cool new tables are added, but I couldn't find a way to nudge in the new version. I don't like how all tables have 6 balls with no option to change it, except for the option to pay for extra balls (which I'm not interested in). I'm going to hold off on the new version until they have an...
I thought of Medieval Madness when I read this, since there's a romset with f-bombs. Not really interested in that myself, though.
I'll probably pick up this set of tables next month (this month I was at a gaming convention and took home some NES/FC, SNES/SFC, Genesis, 2600, CV, and...
Space Invaders is not EM, it's early SS. It's very disappointing people are outright requesting for Farsight not to make older tables since there is an audience for them and many of them are very good. There will be plenty of newer machines, and are already, but I don't like how companies are...
My point with the ratings is that they show that somebody likes the game, which is what was asked. I haven't played the real table, and I like what I played of it in Future Pinball, but I need to play a real machine for an opinion. I watched videos of the PS2 UK version of the Gottlieb...
It doesn't prove they aren't all that good (which is opinion, not fact). The fact that they are early SS on a list combined with newer machines at all says something about those games. A lot of very nice tables, including Cyclone and Whodunnit are rated lower. The ranking at pinside is also...
