It bites, but I expect they'll be able to offer it afterwards so if you're patient you could just wait!
Although I think it's kind of fun to be surprised by what table is coming next, if they have to reveal the full roster up-front to satisfy Apple then they should bite the bullet and do just...
They may not have advertised the Hall of Fame tables as free, but I also don't recall the standalone kickstarter releases being referred to as "premium" - that was more an assumption people made because they were kickstarter tables.
The fact is that the re-release tables did mean less work for...
I'm a bit disappointed after all the gnashing of teeth in the "Apple won't let me play pinball!" thread that I woke up this morning, read a post in Facebook from Farsight saying everything was groovy, downloaded the update, found the new table in "My Tables," downloaded it and played it without...
With such a controller I could use my iPad like a wee games console hooked up to the TV. Not sure why Apple waited so long to do an API that people sold re-packaged keyboards to do it!
I've only seen things that act like cradles thus far - has anyone actually made a Bluetooth joypad and is it...
I can wait for Black Rose; I'm hoping I don't need to get a refund or pay for individual tables again. I can understand Apple not wanting to encourage fraud, but this seems excessive. Surely they just need more developer community managers to keep on top of this stuff rather than banning it?
The comment on Fire! was encouraging because I really enjoyed that when I got to play it a few years ago. Considering how many of these companies were HQ'ed in Chicago a Chicago-themed table seems like it should be in the TPA for sure.
Encouraging about Sorcerer as that machine really grew on...
Well that's annoying. I thought maybe the table was releasing next week. I bought a S3 pass so I wouldn't have the bother of buying each table separately.
Also bought Zaccaria Gold pass - I'm not seeing a problem here, it's not like Farsight is some Johnny-come-lately trying to scam people!
I think I'm going to just delete the Mac version and wait for the Wii U one or simply stick with the iOS one myself; maybe run it through an HDMI link and play with a controller. At least I'm playing it in some form, but it would be nice to see the Mac version getting the same level of support...
Even with multiple screens pedals and a steering column no driving game is going to come close to giving you a feeling of actually driving a car. Besides the fun of driving games is that they make you feel like you can drive those cars without requiring the actual ability to drive those cars...
I'd have to use it before I could complain about it myself. I can't say I find the new UI too problematic. My only persistent complaint (if I could be bothered to articulate it, but frankly it's not important enough even for internet *****ing) would be about the slowness of accessing and...
I'm not going to do it, but that would seem to be a case for raising a complaint to Apple and getting them (Farsight) to either modify the wording or lower the price.
I've lived here for twelve years - I'm used to paying £1 for something sold in the States for $1. Given I can live quite comfortably here on the salary I was making over a decade ago in the States it doesn't bother me too much to pay a little bit over the odds. After all I pay nothing for...
I think a favourites list is a great idea.
I also really want (and cannot understand the absence of) the ability to stop the camera from roaming. I seem to remember that being there, but damned if anything I can do will stop the thing from moving to the top of the screen when I launch the ball...
£21 for ten tables? Seems quite cheap to me. Even if I wanted to add the price of the season 2 ball pack it's still less than I'd pay for one of these as a standalone piece of software.
I get that, but it wasn't clear to me that it would be there to redownload. After I got my Air I had to install everything from scratch and that meant re-downloading all my tables in TPA so if they lost the rights to sell T2 I was thinking that would also mean it was removed from their servers...
Sorry I did mean the Gottlieb machine - I didn't realise there were two with such similar names. The Bally table does look interesting though.

Ah so you're saying once bought it's in your table collection, it's just that newcomers won't see it for sale? That's cool. Of course the iPad Air is so perfect I'd need a real reason to upgrade it; giving my 3rd gen to my daughter for school was a convenient excuse, but I'm not someone who...
