I'm seriously leaning towards Steam on Mac for my "big screen" version, but I just never game on my Mac any more. If they had HID controller support or I could use a Wii Remote via the Bluetooth driver I picked up awhile ago it would be an easier decision.

Never played any of these or heard of "Who Dunnit," so it looks like this season will be chalk full of tables I've never laid eyes on. Hopefully we'll see Bad Cats as well - video of that looked properly goofy.
Still hoping we'll see Aces High and Sorcerer from the previous collections though...
I dig the new interface, but yeah I'd like some way to view the back glass art without paying the extra money for pro mode. A choice of icon would provide some modest amount of customisation so why not both? And by both I mean icons - I'll be very happy to see the back of the "wheel."
And as...
The previous round left me cold because too many favourites dropped out. This is pretty easy, however:
Monster Bash
Theatre of Magic

On iOS there's some physics issues I'm aware of; specifically around the ball lock ramp as well as a camera issue related to same where the first ball lock results in no plunger cam for the new ball launch. Others might have other problems, but that's what stands out for me and it's minor enough...
I wouldn't mind an old-fashioned pachinko game as well; sadly most of the stuff on iOS is more modern. So bring on Play Boy says I (though not standalone)!

I thought Gottlieb was involved in the modern Stern pinball saga somewhere. Wasn't it Gottlieb's pinball assets that were acquired by Data East or was that a separate event? I'm pretty sure the modern Stern company owns the old Gottlieb assets at least.

Only thing that's occurred to me regarding the loss of a license like T2 is that it will have expired by the time I get a new iPad. Anyone know if the table data, i.e. The tables themselves, is part of what's backed up in an iPad backup in iTunes? Otherwise I guess I have to accept I'll be...
Medieval Madness - Tough one as I like both themes and the deep rulesets. It could really go either way, but I'll give Medieval Madness the nod because I've played a real one.
Centaur - The stark visuals and great sound design put this head and shoulders above the first Elvira table.
Theatre...
Shame I missed the first round - this is a fun idea!
Creature from the Black Lagoon - Although it took me a long time to warm up to this table with all the ramps I have to say I've come to really enjoy it. The Pub is decent, but the toy in the middle is just too overbearing for me.
Gorgar - I...
Yeah that doesn't look like kana to me; more like some Asian looking brush strokes with pseudo Arabic squiggles. It does make me wonder what it's supposed to hint at though...
iOS 7.0.4
iPad Air
Camera moves still happening despite "Event Cam" option being set to "no"
Every time
To be honest I'm not sure if this is related to the above or if it's a new "feature," but I notice since switching to my Air that the camera is zooming in on playfield locations in a way it...
I think "Sweet Spot" was he first goal I got on Cue Ball Wizard, but I haven't a clue how. I tend not to review the goals when I first play a table so I can focus on seeing what the machine plays like. First play I usually get a few of them and then read up on the rest. Goin' Nuts, Teed Off and...
I wasn't a big fan of El Dorado in the Gottlieb Collection, but this plays very well.
Not a bad pack, but I'm looking forward to some more Bally and Williams tables.
I don't seem to recall an option to buy season 2 until it was too late for me to justify it, so I'll totally be springing for the season this year. Anything south of £36 seems fair to me!

So what's the consensus, is the Mac version looking better since the Mavericks upgrade?
I've got four tables in TPA; only thing really holding me back from making the Mac my big-screen TPA machine is quality of presentation (if it's just an iOS port I'm not interested) and controller support...
El Dorado and Eight Ball Deluxe would be nice.
I didn't realise the WMS licenses needed renewing - if we see Eight Ball, then I guess we'll have an answer on that.
