Interesting, thanks Webster. I also note that disabling event camera and multivalve camera seems to have no effect on camera movement. I normally have these switched off and I'm seeing zooms, etc. that I wasn't seeing on my iPad 3 running this version, so I'm assuming it's something else unique...
Just got mine today. Having an iPad 3, there was nothing compelling me to upgrade, but my daughter's school says the kiddies need tablets next year so it was a good excuse.
I prefer the glass on the old machine, but the reduced weight and smudging are well worth it. I had already upgraded to...
I'm a bit disappointed to see so little love for the 70s-80s machines. Hopefully Farsight will spread the love a bit for more pre-DMD tables that those of us who grew up during that time!
I'm assuming the Magna Save buttons no longer working in Black Knight is related to the launch button issues reported above.
I did find it amusing that after updating The Champion Pub I played a game a saw a ball shoot through the left side of the table for the first time, given a fix for the...
Query for folk using this: is this still using the same assets as iOS versions and is it possible to use save data from iOS versions?
I also get the sense there's controller support now - is this USB HID support (in which case I should hopefully be able to use my dual analogue Sony Playstation...
I have to say T2 is a nice surprise. I suspect my original negative opinion was based upon playing another machine! Still didn't back the Kickstarter because I didn't care about the license, but I was glad to pay the £2.99 for it.
I'm kind of wondering if I should buy the TZ and TNG machines...
I play on my iPad so much I honestly don't know how much time I'd put into playing on TV, so I'm not in a hurry for a big-screen version. Besides the Wii U release schedule is pretty full as it is!
Also running an iPad 3, camera one, locked and no issues with Whirlwind here. Generally speaking I tend to assume that if there's slowdown in any application it's because of something else doing network access in the background.
Sticking with the older tables (mostly) here's my picks:
Eight Ball Deluxe
Fathom
Fireball II
Flash Gordon
Judge Dredd
Mata Hari
Medusa
Spectrum
Strikes and Spares
Xenon
That looks like a more conventional layout than we've seen thus far. Really nice-looking table. I really should play with the lighting effects more. Definitely think the Pinball Arcade should do something similar!
Oh right, forgot Haunted House was Gottlieb - something about it just looks like Bally to me!
Surprised about Captain Fantastic being EM - isn't that a mid-late 70s machine? It looks like quite a classic playfield. Yeah I see Elton John is written all over it - I shouldn't imagine he'd want to...
I could have lived without Goin' Nuts, but I think we can all say that it's better than the "Strikes 'n' Spares" from the Gottlieb Collection. I'll buy the pack because I've never played Fight 2000 (or any classic Stern tables), but I don't expect to play much of the novelty table and I would...
I play on my iPad exclusively, though I originally bought the Mac version because I found it in the Mac App Store before I knew it was out for iOS.
I was originally keen to get it on Wii U, but I'm having second thoughts because of playing in landscape. Portrait orientation on iPad and the...
I hold the iPad in my hands (portrait only) and slam the side of it. Usually this is an after-drain frustration; I almost never use it as a bond-fide play technique because of the delay, but I suspect touching to nudge would only cause me other problems and I prefer not to nudge at all.
I enjoyed that table when I had a chance to play it so yeah, definitely one I'd like to see. The recent film was great; I think part of the problem was the bizarre decision to go practically 3D only with fewer 2D showings (in the UK anyway). Only modern 3D film I've seen. The effect was only...
That 1000 on a single ball goal just keeps taunting me. I haven't gotten as close as 50 points, but I think within a couple hundred - damn you Central Park!
