I'll have to wait for payday to throw down for gold, but that will definitley happen. I'm loving having another pinball sim with new tables added - especially from a manufacturer I never heard of back in the day.
The only issue leaping out at me is some slowdown on my iPad 3, but it sounds like...
No sandwich for me - leftovers!
Had a play and yes the physics are incredibly pants. If the engine can be tuned to feel more like a real pinball machine I'd happily consider upgrading to Gold. If I understand correctly that would be essentially pre-ordering all the tables?
One thing I like about this forum is getting turned on to new tables which aren't the Pinball Arcade like Revenge of the Rob-o-Bot and even a work in progress like this, so cheers to the thread starter and night for the encouraging feedback.
I'll give it a go in the hopes of improvements to...
We're not going to see Pin*Bot paired with Whirlwind due to them both being re-releases, but Whirlwind with Earthshaker sounds like a solid thematic pairing.
The policies of a console maker aren't easily worked around, unfortunately. Nintendo was (in)famous for not allowing patches for WiiWare games barring exceptional circumstances which meant some games ended up with control issues that could have been addressed after the fact, but just couldn't...
I got one of those shiny black Seagate expansion units, however the Western Digital MyBook drives (I have a 3TB Firewire 800 one for my media) are more highly rated. I definitley wouldn't go cheap, regardless of what you end up with. Not much sense getting a drive that's likely to fail less than...
Yeah having to download demos in batches of five kind of sucked; once installed I cannot see an easy way to remove them short of deleting the app and then re downloading it and my purchases. I have a 2TB hard drive so I'm not bothered though. I expect Pinball Arcade will either not do demos or...
I've actually come up with a positive reason for the delay. Given the Wii U's improved network play and Bobby King's recent interview where he says they want to focus on adding online play features, what if the reason for the delay is to ensure the Wii U has online play in the initial release...
I've played more than a half-dozen games so far and only two with a score in excess of 3000 (actually those games were my only ones with a score in excess of 1000 as well). I think the last wizard goal of 1000 on a single ball is going to take me a while!
I guess I missed something, but I can't remember a lot of unrest from the last pack - Firepower is what sold me that pack, though I enjoy Dr. Dude as well. As long as the tables are fun to play I don't really care about the era too much, but tables with a lot of toys do get a bit wearing.
We're...
I noticed when I played Central Park today that the ball number rotates back when you have an extra ball full stop. I earned one on ball 3 and it went to 4 and back to three. Definitely not looking like a bug.
Are you sure you aren't just having a good game? Extra balls seem very easy to earn on this table with awards happening frequently between1500-2000 points to a max of fifteen balls per game. In fact it's clearly enough of a potential issue that Farsight included an option to turn them off...
My first play I was wondering if the table might be broken because I got all table goals and a score of over 3000 and was letting balls drain on purpose because the game just didn't seem to end. I just played a game where I only earned one extra ball and got 900 points, so I think it was just...
Very nice and at 69p a non-decision for me to buy the eyeball. I noticed that there seems to be a Borg-themed ball available for TNG as well this update?
