Did you try changing the nVidia frame setting suggested here yet?

I agree about the desperate need for high-res textures but at the same time am glad the release happened now rather than later. It might helps sales if Farsight add to the game description not only the fact that new tables will be released, but that all tables will get upgraded textures PLUS...
This is a good tip and the same thing applied to me for Visual Pinball in my cab some time ago.
Also another thing to reduce lag which most people may already know is when using a TV always turn off any TV picture processing. Eg: Game mode, on LGs change to JustScan, etc. This should also...
The Euro rep is already probably down the pub (or Cafe bar), so I would head off there as well if I were you and sink a few pints (or 550ml jars).
Out of interest which less popular table have they bundled with a popular table, and do we know how it sold? I really think the majority of non-hardcore buyers of PA are buying tables they don't know - unless they base their decision on how well known the theme of the table is.
fair point - maybe a solution is to bundle a 'popular' table with a less known one? Or charge a premium for these tables? Also do we know if the majority of the PA buying public know the real tables - if not maybe the majority will still buy lesser known tables once they have played a demo of...
Great listen - many thanks for taking the time to go to Farsight. Enjoyed the 'after interview' chat too.
One thing I heard repeated from Bobby which he has said before which I find surprising and a bit disappointing is 'one day we will run out of great tables to build'. Having played several...
Audio from Farsight's presentation from the Expo is now uploaded on Pinball News.
Very enjoyable. Would be nice to get the PowerPoint of the slides as well.

Although I have purchased PA on 3 platforms already and was ready to buy all tables on PC I will need to hold off until it is confirmed how cabinets are to be handled as I can't risk it be only offered in a separate product and not as a add-on to the standard PC version. I don't have an issue...
Crow went to the Pinbal Expo in Chicago and bought an unplanned brand new Stern Star Trek Pro. His wife filmed him doing the unboxing and setup between 1-3am. You can hear her yawning :). I can't imagine my wife doing that- she would leave me to it. Crow has some very entertaining videos...
They are not washed out in the flesh. That's the way the camcorder films it. In three years of reading forums in the virtual cabinet scene no-one has every said a plasma is better! Plus it would probably catch fire in a cab. LCD / LEDS are the best choice.
Excellent stuff and a separate display for the DMD. Anyone know if it's a real DMD using PinDMD?
