Has anyone seen the Farsight Virtuapin cabinet in operation? Have they got portrait mode with working backglass and/or moveable DMD? Really itching to know
Beautiful cabinet. I recommend you give the just released Elvis Night Mod a whirl withe the directB2S backglass. Incredible lighting.

It diverts more and more from Pinball with every table. Although it is fantasy pinball don't people think they take it too far? I would rather see the old tables on Steam like the one that was a bit like black knight.
It's the VP community that created/pioneered the cabinet scene and I know Virtuapin wouldn't exist today without. As much as I would love Farsight to produce every table created in VP there are just too many so it won't ever happen. There are so many EMs and early solid states VP will live on...
I purchased the Ultimate Cab builders kit from Paul when he first setup Virtuapin and also can't agree more about the great service he offers - top quality products and very helpful plus he loves pinball! I know he can be overloaded sometimes but it's well worth the wait.
He is also one of the...
In case any of you guys missed it, on Facebook Farsight said they are in the process of ordering a virtual pinball cabinet, which hopefully will mean cab features on the way in the not too distant future:

So they are working with a...
Agree 100%.
I have kind of lost interest in PC version now despite waiting over 18 months for it. The portrait VP tables are so good nowadays supporting 2/3 screens I don't see the point in buying PA again for 3rd time if I don't get a basic portrait mode. With rotatable monitors so common...
Glass off mode video!
Wow - These guys really know what we want. Glass off mode - I think this is exclusive to kickstarters.

Agree on that point. The latest VP tables have better lighting than the current PA PC build using techniques that the community has come up with.
If we can get the PS4 type lighting eventually it will make the world of difference.
I did wonder about the 4D and think it maybe a tongue in cheek way of probably hinting that the ball can leave table. The Web has 2D ball spin, the others had 3D which is a spin up in the air.. Whatever.... The info i am pointing out is it will handle ball spin which is a crucial part of...
Here is a comment from the Pro Pinball developer which might be a good reason to increase your pledge for the Pro Pinball Ultra Edition Kickstarter to get Alpha test access. This means a copy of the game up to 3 months before anyone else! :)
"Exact Alpha testing dates will depend a bit on...
We want you to join the vertical monitor crowd Sean. We are an 'almost normal' bunch :).
Seriously though the extra 'real estate' given by portrait takes you so close to the feel of playing the real table. I guess this can be appreciated by playing in portrait on an iPad. Just scroll...
Do we have any idea of how many paid table packs are purchased on the various platforms. I mean are we talking 1000s, 10000s, 100000s. I know the original pro pinball series sold 3 or 4 million but have no idea if those are the sales achieved nowadays.
Where it is true that real 'full-blown'...
