I feel for you Trib, I also had a brilliant game of TNG happening once and when I put down the iPad the game crashed on me - no clue why.
I'm making more of an effort in this tourney, but I know the competition is stiff. I've been playing each table three times just to give some kind of...
El Dorado and Aces High I'd definitely like to see. I think if Tee'd Off had a bit of tuning I'd like it better than No Good Gofers, but my problem with it was that right ramp shot to get the putt was impossible - I don't think I managed it even once!
I can live without Jive Time from Williams...
No, I don't expect it either, but still you never know. And Nintendo Life gets a press release from Nintendo which lists the releases for the next week, so I'd definitely trust that more than a developer - see Zen and their claim to be out before the end of January which I equally doubt!
So the Rudy Gulp Bonus joins the Ripley's Skill Shot as a goal that doesn't register when achieved? Does this mean if I achieve a goal in tournament play it counts (just like in the console collections)?
Cheers chris and yeah, that is lucky. It's been ages since I've had a 60+ million game of...
So not only do I get a Rudy Gulp bonus in tournament play TWICE which doesn't register as completing my last remaining Funhouse standard table goal, but I then decide to play it a fourth time outwith the tournament, fail to get the elusive Rudy Gulp and score 47 million - about four times higher...
Well, they did a brilliant Greatest Hits collection for DS and iOS so the American branch (which is likely the only part of the company to remain a going concern after this year) seems willing to leverage IP. I don't see why they wouldn't be willing to license IP, but the question is whether or...
Yeah I had that crash happen once when all I did was close the smart cover and open it. Really sucked as I was having a brilliant game of something and all was lost.
Here's something I don't know if specific to iOS or the table. I cannot for the life of me get the Skill Shot on Ripley's despite...
There is not going to be a fire sale because the company isn't tanking. The only reason they're doing this is to get released from the parent company which is headquartered in France and is in trouble and hanging up the publication of new software. It's purely a strategic move; nothing more.
True and there is a big transparent ramp in the centre - I dunno, there must be some technical reason for it - I cannot imagine they'd do it just to annoy people...
It's the last Wizard goal for me; my high score is 166K. When you get on a roll the machine seems quite beatable, but the drain down the middle after launch happens so easily...
That's one that's been guessed and hinted at by those in the know so I think it's safe to include. I still have to get some prawn dumpling noodle soup at Hong Kong Express and have a go on the real thing before it gets swapped out.
I have also only played Firepower in digital form (I played Firepower II as a kid, but don't really remember it) and I just love it the way I love Gorgar or Black Hole for the loud, brash sound effects and high speed ricochet action that keeps me on my toes. I think that it's the upcoming table...
Guess I need to play Elvira and Taxi tonight to see if I can taste the difference then!
I already knew stuff like this was being worked on, but you know, it's nice to have confirmation to still the voices of the pessimists!
There are a number of forum posters who are beta testers and a couple of them have mentioned this in the past because it's quite noticeable and people were questioning the blue colour of those ramps as well. Console versions have the blue transparent, so it's another reason I'm looking forward...
I avoided Creature from the Black Lagoon for months and then fired it up a couple of days ago to clear the standard goals and found myself really enjoying it for the first time.
I can play Harley, but it's really not an engaging table. Maybe if the motorcycle tour aspect was played up more...
They haven't gone into detail beyond stating it's performance-related, so I can only guess it might have something to do with the moving table elements using more resource so that play would suffer if they were also doing transparency effects. Without knowing anything about the No Good Gofers...
