    If the ball appears to be heading for an outlane give the table a single nudge up as the ball nears the top of the slingshot. I've found this to be very effective in preventing outlane drains.

    I found a little trick. If your plunge is too weak to hit the 3,000 point skill shot, a well timed upward nudge can sometimes still hit the last 1,000 point rollover.
