It is a set of crudely designed boxes, which frankly are so badly done it is embarrassing. If some one could post a screen shot of the first screen I would be grateful. I just have no idea how this design was given the green light. I used to do computer art so I hope I know what I am talking...
Since downloading both DLC packs I have been forced to play in window mode on the Mac since when the game is in full screen mode the ball become very sluggish at times. I am playing on an iMac that is not two years old and has a good graphics processor. Before the update it used to play as...
With a heavy heart I have to report they seem to have ported the iOS DLC with the previously reported bugs still there. The two musical sound tracks play at the same time in 'Fun House'. This problem was reported a long time ago. Sigh. Too much, too soon. FarSight seem to have spread themselves...
Hi I thought it may be interesting if people posted TV programmes and movies that featured pinball. I will kick it off with a BBC children's programme called 'Zokko'. This first aired in 1968 and featured an animated talking pinball table that was the shows host. Pretty bizarre. A movie that...
I really don't want to be a bore or too negative (I love pinball and admire what FarSight are doing). But, and it's a big but (oh err) when the Mac OS version was released FS said DLC and future graphic update. They did not specify you had to have Lion. You can make all the excuses in the world...
A little harsh I think. As previously stated, as it stands there will be no bug fixes for people running 10.6. Yes the games run but there are some real issues. For example in Arabian Nights the left flipper sometimes sticks in the up position during multiplay (after collecting all the jewels...
It would be good if 10.6 owners could get bug fixes etc. In April ZD Net stated Lion was catching up with Snow Leopard, "Its share figures are Snow Leopard 43 percent, Lion 40 percent, Leopard 14 and Tiger 14 percent". There is still a lot of complaints about Lion and I have been very happy with...
Perhaps the most shocking thing about the change in OS spec is that lots of people will be left with a game that will not get any bug fixes or graphics improvements. They bought the game in good faith and that faith was misplaced. As previously mentioned more than half of Macs still use Snow...
A strange thing to say since PA is based on DLC. Lion was released along time before PA. So why make it run on Snow Leopard if it will not allow DLC. As I said in my first post their Mac Team seams to be less than cutting edge. Plus there is the demo fiasco.
After months of waiting I was delighted to see the Mac OS version had been updated. However when I went to the App Store I was amazed to find FarSight have raised the required OS needed from 10.6.8 to 10.7. I could not believe my eyes when I read it. This is something you NEVER do. Their Mac...
Sigh! Yet another week goes by without the Mac update. It will soon be THREE months since the last update. What makes the situation more aggravating is the complete lack of information. I really hope this does not alienate punters. Come on FarSight let us know what is happening.
I have the IOS tables and both PSP collections. I also have the Mac OS version. It is great to play the tables on a big screen. I am really looking forward to the updated and DLC packs. Next week???
