I've played both, and it is Flight 2000 which has no gameplay. You lock some balls and then what? Ooh, spinner, shiny! Now, I've relocked a ball. Rinse and repeat.

I notice that Seawitch is listed in italics among the candidates. I wonder if that means anything. Hmmm.

You have played Flight 2000 what, once? The game is a classic and would LOVE to own my own table, over anything out there.

I voted Friday just a couple of hours after I said I would wait a few days.
For me it was a choice between Flight 2000 and Seawitch and even though Flight 2000 has a more Typical Stern feel about it and probably a bit more to do on it,
I went with Seawitch because of the flow and the design look. It was a close call.
I hope they will take a look at the runner ups when the vote is finished and consider a few more early Sterns down the road. Anyway, I am truly pleased they are doing this poll and happy to see the big turn up from voters.

I also voted too soon. My vote was purely IPDB based because I did not think of You Tube or PAPA videos until after the fact. Based on images only, I picked Flight 2000. The area where you locked the balls looked very intriguing and that is what sealed the deal for me. After video research on these tables, SeaWitch looks like great fun too. I didn't even consider the table in my IPDB research because I hate the color Sea Foam Green and was turned off.

I am happy with my vote and hope that Flight 2000 and SeaWitch both poll 15 to 20 percent higher in voting than the other tables. Then both tables would probably be released.

Thanks for the poll and not releasing the results. One thought on the next poll is to make the poll with some links or suggestions for research and then lock the voting for a couple of days, if that is possible. I think that would give a chance to kibitz with our fellow forum friends and make an informed decision when the voting is opened.

Seconded. Hopefully this poll will enforce just how popular the older tables are, and FarSight will see fit to release a few more over time.

Nice choice BTW ;)

I think FS has done a pretty good job with mixing up the tables from different eras and manufacturers. These tables all hit in my prime playing days so I will be pleased with any of them. I grew up in a town with an ordinance against arcade games and arcade machines so I played pinball when my family traveled. That was mostly from the mid seventies to the early eighties. My middle older brother and I would always go on the hunt for pinball wherever we went.

Played a little SeaWitch and Meteor tonight on the cab, just to check out the competition. Both were not even close when it comes to Flight 2000. Flight 2000 should win hands down.

Cool, I would regard that as a treasure hunt :)

Based on all the forum posts here, it seems that most people were choosing between Seawitch, Flight 2000, and Catacomb.

I think that it will be a close race between Seawitch and Flight 2000 with Catacomb not too far behind. There were +350 votes and nearly 170 responses, so it could be entirely possible that the voters who did not choose one of these three games, remained silent in this thread. If that is the case then the winner may not be either one of these three games.

I did my research on all of these games on ipdb and I viewed gameplay videos on pinball.org/videos and youtube. It was a tough call between Flight 2000 and Seawitch, because I really enjoyed Flight 2000 when I played it at Pinburgh, but Seawitch looked like it could be more fun. In the end, I gave the slight edge to Seawitch, because it looked like the game flows better and it looks like there is more to do in that game while Flight 2000 is a tad more open than I would like it to be.

I still would like to have Flight 2000 in TPA, but since we can't have both right now, I chose Seawitch.

Wow. I just don't get SeaWitch. Is it because it has a picture of a woman on it? The game play seemed terrible compared to Flight 2000. I will go as far as to say I will boycott the table pack if it does not contain Flight 2000. It will be a first. But I will not buy the pack until Flight 2000 is released. If it isn't included, I won't be picking that pack up until after they do finally release Flight 2000.

I made my choice based on artwork that I liked, and far and away that went to Sea Witch. I also love drop targets.

I do agree Flight 2000 looks interesting from a gameplay standpoint, so I'll be excited if either one makes it.

DaPinballWizard: no it's not just "boobies" lol, I really like the color and theme, reminds me of Fathom, that's why I went with it.

I'll be pretty bummed if we don't see more than one of these. I voted for Seawitch, but I also want Meteor, Catacomb, Flight 2000, and Star Gazer.

If it seems I am a little too overboard on this. Here are a few of my past posts.

My 2nd post on here 5-18-2012
"I only want one table from my past. Flight 2000 from Stern from the early 80s.. I pumped so many quarters in that table. I would LOVE to be able to play that table again on my iPad. Enough so that I would almost pay for development. The day it is released, let's just say, dont try calling or coming over for a few days. I will be busy."

6-24-2012
"My top five is simple.
1. Flight 2000 (Stern)
2. Flight 2000 (Stern)
3. Flight 2000 (Stern)
4. Flight 2000 (Stern)
5. Flight 2000 (Stern)"

9-16-2012
"Flight 2000
Fish Tales
Cactus Canyon
Road Show
Flintstones
World Cup Soccer 94
Xenon
Black Knight 2000
Junk Yard"

9-29-2012
"Loving the last release. The new updates too. Each release we get closer and closer to Flight 2000 being released. Don't know when it will happen, but the sooner the better."

11-12-2012
"I feel this way about Flight 2000 from Stern. At least Pinbot is mentioned as a future table. Who knows how long it will take to see Flight 2000."

12-28-2012
"Awesome. Both look real good. Played AFM before, never played Genie but looks good. Fish Tales or Cactus Canyon next I hope. Flight 2000 would be a great older Stern table to recreate, hint hint."

2-5-2013
"As far as Stern tables go. I want one. Flight 2000. Is that too much to ask for?"

4-19-2013
"OMG. Flight 2000 PLEASE!!! I pumped so many quarters into that machine. The others aren't even in the same league."

That is seriously petty. I consider Eight Ball Deluxe to be a classic. I would never consider boycotting the Centaur table pack because it beat out EBD in a poll.

Way to make rude assumptions/generalizations and make yourself look like a snob.
