I'm really hoping the "Big 3" Stern games get made: Seawitch, Stargazer, and Nine Ball (in that order).

Meteor is also fun, but might be too easy.

Galaxy is also fun, but very simplistic.

I'd rather not see Flight 2000 as the first title, because there's a lot of other games Stern made that are much better.

people voted for seawitch based purely on their own speculation and not having played the table

typical style over substance american attitude... weeeee

Well, I voted for Catacomb due to its complexity in the rule set...and multiball. However, I played a beautifully restored Seawitch some years ago and it had the flow and speed of a Steve Ritchie table. It was beautiful. Maybe FarSight will see the strong opinions on here for three or four of these pins and digitize a few more than just the winner.

And? Not everyone has a Seawitch on location. Not everyone has even one of these machines on location. Not everyone even has a location to play real pinball at all. What else do they have to go on besides photos, video, and their speculation on which machine they'd like best?

I'm not familiar with Trident and I haven't heard many people mention it, so I went searing for a video. Looks pretty nice. Good spinner shot, neat left inlane, and very nice comic book style art.

gameplay videos (rather than just shots of the layout and artwork,) reviews, various forms of digital representation, etc.

there are plenty of tables that look great but play horribly (seawitch isn't "horrible" but you get my meaning)

People have said as much, where are my assumptions?

People have said the same about the other tables as well. Just because you don't care for Sea Witch doesn't mean you have to be a jerk about it. And for all you know, Sea Witch might not even be winning, so just chill. Regardless of what wins, I'm just thankful we have this opportunity to vote in the first place and they're all good tables in their own way.

And as for your American comment, that's a rude generalization and totally uncalled for.

I cast my lot for Catacomb, but Galaxy, Meteor and Nine Ball were also highly tempting (I'm surprised there hasn't been more support for Nine Ball here, actually—you would think that the side-of-a-van-worthy artwork would at least draw a few people in). Also, since there are so many classic Sterns here, I have a suggestion/request: could we guarantee more than one of them a place in TPA? I'm thinking that the winner should get to go into Table Pack #16 or #17 as currently planned, with second place getting bundled with Eight Ball Deluxe as Table Pack #19 or #20 and third place getting bundled with Fathom as Table Pack #22 or #23. Is there any way something like this could be arranged?

I've voted for Nine Ball - my father owned this table a long time ago and I played it much - had always much fun playing it! It's also my fathers favorite table so I really would love playing it on TPA! :D

From my professional (totally) overview of the comments my official (yup) prediction is that the winner will be Flight 2000, with Seawitch coming in second.

And for all we know, this poll is just one factor FarSight are going to consider when it comes to which tables actually get made and released in which order. Although I suppose you admins know more. ; )

Still, I think Star Gazer is gonna win. >_>

Actually, we don't. Bobby just asked me to run the poll.

That has always been my sentiment, whatever they release, I buy. But when they put my all time favorite up against inferior competition, (notice the IPDB professional scoring, only Meteor coming close), I will voice my displeasure by holding off on the pack, if Flight 2000 isn't included. I will eventually purchase it, just not until after the right has been wronged, and Flight 2000 has been released. Simple. My way of showing my disdain for the other tables.

Yes, I can see the poll results, but I have no idea whether they'll release more than one table in the future.

IPDB isn't professional. Anyone can make an account and rate games any way they please.
