1 out of 2 next season would be cool!I didn't figure Phantom would require ks, i thought the copyright to it is public domain. In any case both are Data East and since we don't have a single Data East table yet, one can't really count on any Data East table.
It is based on the 1912 Leroux novel, not the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical (though it probably isn't a coincidence it came out around the time the play was getting popular), so it shouldn't require a Kickstarter, but last I heard the software hadn't been emulated, and Phantom in particular is problematic; even Visual Pinball hasn't properly emulated it yet.

Why is it so hard to emulate? I see nothing on the table that would make it harder to emulate, than say, something like "Bride of Pin*Bot".

They update at 5pm est each Tuesday.

They must have updated early today cause the tables were released around 2PM EST.

In all honesty, #30 could be a Gottlieb. We've only seen one this season. And FS haven't given any hint about what #30 could be. I know Gottlieb is generally seen as filler, but they need a bit of filler to keep the killer coming for longer.

Gottlieb's tables in TPA are actually pretty good.....I just can't stand the wizard goals FS put in these. I still can't get the Genie 3M goal, the Victory "Fuel targets special", the 2x on all three levels in Haunted House, or most of the goals in Goin' Nuts and El Dorado. Although it didn't take me too long to get them all in LCA and 1812. Plus I was much better at the BH and Tee'd Off! tables in TPA than I was at their PHoF counterparts.

Hopefully though BSD will be #30. I wouldn't complain a bit if it were Jack Bot.

When did this happen? lol

I think the only ones I actually enjoy are "Big Shot", "Cue Ball Wizard" and "Class of 1812". The rest are pretty terrible in my opinion.

Of course, all the Gottlieb tables that are actually worth doing are the ones that are a bit costly. ("Freddy: A Nightmare On Elm Street", "Stargate", etc)

I'm not a fan of EDCOGold, for me that is the worst of the Gottlieb tables. I enjoy most of the other ones though.

I'm in the pro-Gotty camp. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety, and Gottlieb, even the Premier DMDs, have some rulesets and playfield designs that are completely different to anything WMS. And Big Shot and El Dorado are great tables for sniping drop targets - such a satisfying feeling.

"El Dorado" is the least worthy table in TPA. Why on earth they chose that over a remaining table like "Sorcerer" is beyond me?

I love Big Shot and El Dorado also holds a certain charm.
I think part of the reason some of the Gottlieb Table Goals are more tough than others is perhaps because Farsight figures that the hardcore that enjoy the Gottlieb tables are also the ones that would welcome this kind of challenge.

Before you mistake me for a total Gottlieb apologist, I agree with you 100% on El Dorado. You also may have noticed that I complained about the Goals in "Goin' Nuts". I may never get those because neither table is enough fun to hold my attention.

+ a bunch for mentioning Sorcerer-one I still hope to see in TPA.

I do think the other Gottlieb tables are nicely done. It's nice to have them preserved. There are still a few I'd like to see, like Surf N' Safari, TX Sector, and some of their EM stuff.

Don't forsake Goin Nuts, It can be a fun table. Just need to hit as many pins during multiball and when down to one ball..get multiball back, which may sound boring but it's not.

When FS fixes the dead bumpers, this game will be a lot better.

I thought I was the only one who noticed. Most of the bumpers on Gottlieb's TPA tables are weak.
