I just played one game before going to bed ^^
I didn't figure how to launch the ball, seems like a button like attack from Mars but the didn't seem to work, seems it works like a plunger instead.
After my play I went to see a little bit of the instructions and sometimes I had two soundtrack playing together.
Happened on the note 10.1.

Played a couple 4 player games in pro mode to see what the service code was that kept popping up.

It seems to be an L + R Flipper E.O.S. switch detection error :/ (Switch F1 & F3)

Now, what I find odd about this whole situation is ... Previously when playing the game in "regular" mode when a service dot popped up I could just load the operators menu and the service dot carried over, but with this new build, or at least on Fish Tales, this is no longer the case.

I will have to do some checking of other things tomorrow, like if the local HSTDs are still being erased when you play a game in Pro Mode, and if other Pro Mode games are reloading ROMs between "regular" and Pro Modes now. I can only think of a couple tables that throw service codes on a regular basis.

I managed to lock the 3 balls and the multiball but it was really hard.
I watched a video at PAPA and the guy said it was a really hard shot and in competition a lot of people don't even go for multiball.
Damn this table is a real drain monster... but I like it so far ^^

About sluggish plunger, I have absolutely no problems if I swipe down screen instead of tapping. As mentioned before, there is no plunge button, so you have to do it the old fashioned way. And plunging with the left side of screen works on all other previous tables with classic plunger stick.

Ok, I've finally found the Fast Cast shot! If you nudge the table to the left when the ball is coming down the left loop, right after it has passed the spinner, the ball will move slightly to the right and you will hit the ball a little further out on the flipper and then the ball can be shot straight into the lock! It's not that hard but watch out because if you nudge too early or too late, the ball can go straight down the drain between you flippers instead. At first plunge it won't matter because you get to plunge again, but second try plunge or mid-game it can be a risky move! But I love it! Ha, ha, great work farsight!

I mean, the shot should be fairly easy but also quite risky, and this captures both.

And just to be clear, I set invert nudge: off, and touch the right side of the screen to nudge.

Just had a bug.
It was the monster fish bonus, on the dmd there's a fish blowing fire and it's a hurry up.
I lost my ball but the game continued until monster fish was over and then the game putted the next ball on play.

Which makes it a bug, considering it is a touch button launch, and the expected performance of it is not to behave it that fashion.

As is the ability to plunge on the Left side of the Screen when using touch screen controls. Prior to build 1.20 the L side of the screen allowed for the use of the Flipper to select the target in the skill shot and the R side was dedicated to the plunge, no matter how it was made; be it touch or draw. If the L side could plunge you'd have limited ability to select the target, and plunge.

This means 2 bugs, one that carried over from the previous build, in addition to the Fish Tales plunge bug.

HOLY CRAP! This worked perfectly! I don't even have an android tab. I did it on my PC.

Right flipper ball launch? I thought FarSight said they wouldn't be doing that anymore...

Posted by ME, using MY FINGERS on MY KEYBOARD. What's tapatalk? :p

Thanks for the replies guys, I will try to get you guys another build tonight or tomorrow. I will address the major issues, the tuning stuff was done pre-Android (part of the reason PC was released early) and we all share the same tuning file so I am not sure if there are any plans for updating that until people get back from the holidays.

one bug, too:
Multiplayergame, player 2 reached a HC and should insert his char. The "screen" for the 3 char is visible, but the lower keyboardhelper(?) where I can select the char and "OK" was not visible. With the right flipper I can change the first char, but I did not found the OK. The table was nudge if I press somewhere in the middle . I try to make a Screenshot, after that the app crash (and my HC fly away :banghead:

Here is the pic. The overlay with the menuepoints was not visible. This on is always on a screenshoot since the last ~4 versions

actually sounds like he may have time for the captive ball and any other serious tuning issues before he takes off for the holidays

I passed on the other bugs, you are missing the one and two but not the three for the season buttons? I see them on mine how strange... anyone else see this?

Overall, great work on this table. I think it would be better to get some more apparent alpha panes around the captive ball (really make the flasher effect jump out at you in this area).

The following bugs are observed on Nexus 7 2013.

==Bug 1: Saucer Kick-Out is too strong==

I think the solenoid strength is too strong for the top saucer kick-out. It should feed the ball into the second or first bonus lane roll-over. At the moment it always kicks out and goes down the right loop.

==Bug 2: Bonus orchestration is not in sync when ball enters outhole==

When the ball enters the outhole, the bonus screens should be triggered. At the moment the music plays, but there is about a 3 second delay between when the ball enters the trough and when the bonus count animation. This causes the bonus count to have no music accompanying it.

==Bug 3: BGM should not play when "weighing a fish" ==

When you shoot the spinner with "how big was it" lit, the music should stop and you should hear the "scales weighing the fish" sound exclusively. No BGM.

==Bug 4: Front screen is missing text in the old Season Pass tiles==

Season [One] and Season [Two]

(text in square braces missing)

Launching the ball before the "Gone Fishing" message can cause the camera view to not change and another ball to be put into the plunger lane, then auto launched resulting in a 2 ball game played from the plunger view until one ball sinks. However if the ball sinks fast enough auto cast will catch it and you'll be playing a 2 ball game, then you can lose one and still plunge another to keep a 2 ball game due to the delay in the out hole trough recognizing a lost ball, or the emulation timing sending the end of ball signal. What ever. You get to keep playing the 2nd ball until launch, which will auto launch and the 2 ball madness continues.

This is repeatable, and is not platform dependant. It happens about 5% of the time.

Also, why are there, yet again, all new camera angles with the introduction of Fish Tales? It is bad enough that the camera views are inconsistent table to table and across the platforms but now they are drastically changed so that we have a close up of the plunge assembly, the plunge lane, or a weird angled view of the table as a whole?

Weird, I will pass this one on.

The ball lock is actually quite easy to hit if you cradle the ball on your right flipper then backhand it up. I'm not sure, but I don't think this is possible on the real table, not this eady anyway. This is potentially a game changing bug, as it changes the balance in risk/reward for this table.

Edit: personally I really like it because it plays even more like Spiderman now with the backhand lock.
Just as long as it doesn't change the gameplay like st:tng multiball shot seems to have. I think people who have played this table more than me should try it and see what they think about it.

I didn't code this so I am speaking a bit out of my arse but I think it was done this way because we can't easily tell whether or not the user has changed something that would effect leaderboards. Some of the options are benign but having to pick and tune those for every table isn't in the cards atm.

Oh and I won't buy any pro pack either until you can have operator menu activated and still register for leaderboard (naturally without any changes in any settings, just so that other scores are saved, like rope jumps and damsels saved and stuff like that, that I have to enter initials every single game because of). Or at least make the default setting save those scores. I think it's really stupid that you have made it function this way, farsight, because it's a lose - lose situation for us users. And you lose on it too, farsight.
