So how are those of you who say you're playing Medieval Madness on the PS3 doing so? I purchased the DLC pack for Pinball Arcade on PS3, and I'm only allowed to download it for the PS Vita currently. I called the developer and got no response.
The July 26 update is going to contain the table I purchased then? I'm so disappointed with the lack of feedback and false advertising of this product. It's really a shame too because the software is really quite near top-notch (with some noticeable flaws but oh well.)
Anyway, I guess I'll continue being addicted to Tales of Arabian Nights until then.
If anyone has any news or information regarding when Medieval Madness will officially be able to download on the PS3 (especially for those of us who have already PAID for it!), please respond here!!!

Who says they've been playing MM on PS3? The NA release is next Tuesday, JUNE 26th.

It has nothing to do with the FarSight. Its just the way that Sony organizes their psn store.

Since you already purchased MM for the PS Vita, you'll be able to download it on your PS3 on June 26th without having to pay for it again.

It's a special promotion to get people to download The Pinball Arcade onto their phone or device (and keep it there, hence the FREE table) with the hope they'll purchase more tables in the future. The promotion is a week long beginning today.
Actually, it does have to do with FarSight. It's their responsibility to adjust heir product description to accurately depict availability. At this point in time, the product is advertised as available, and purchasable, though doesn't say anything about the game being unavailable for download in the product description. Yes it's Sony's FAULT that the download hasn't been yet approved, but it's FarSight's RESPONSIBILITY to make sure the product description remains accurate and up to date. I shouldn't be FINALLY finding out about a download availability date almost a week after I've purchased the product. Never in my years of owning both an Xbox360 and PS3, have I ever purchased a game or DLC that I then (and without prior warning) wasn't able to download for 2 weeks afterward. That's just bad form. Very bad form.
When they submitted the download to the PSN, the moment they found out it wouldn't be available for customers to download yet, it should have been stuck in the description. "Important Note to PS3 Users: THIS PRODUCT WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD JUNE 26th." That's all it takes. Seriously. 5 minutes out of somebody's day to submit it, but a world of impact in terms of company image and user satisfaction/frustration. I work in customer service, and I understand how things like this work. This is not keen customer service.

All this being said, don't get me wrong, Pinball Arcade is probably one of the most realistic, accurate, and overall BEST pinball simulators I've ever played! Good software can be hard to come across these days, so please don't take my complaints as slams on the game! The software itself is lovely, not without flaws, but high quality! Now if you just pull your customer service department together you'll have the full package. I know FarSight is a fairly small studio, but they've made a great game (finally, no offense) that a lot of people are really enjoying. Now they need to step up to the plate and deal with the user base they've (very rapidly) created! You support us and we'll support you! That's how it works.

Yes, but I'd rather wait longer and have some feedback than wait longer and be left completely in the dark. Maintaining that line of communication with your user base is necessary to maintain their interest and continue receiving "free" advertising via word-of-mouth.

Damn though, my complaints aside I can't wait till MM for TPA!! I've NEVER gotten to play the table before (yeah, seriously!). I have it on Visual Pinball but I'm trying to hold out and wait until it comes on TPA before I play it! I don't want to spoil it with the. . .let's just call it "Unique Aesthetic Style" provided by Visual Pinball.
I've only heard amazingly great things about it. so I've occasionally looked into finding a physical table of it, out of curiosity, and I've found them going for anywhere between 7kUSD to up to 20kUSD! With demand that high on a table with over 4000 units produced, it must be killer!!
Can't wait!

Not sure if you have a VP Cabinet set-up, but in anticipation of MM release for Xbox (FINALLY!!!) I tried a PHOF game of MM followed by a VP one. I must say, the B2S MM table plays incredibly true.
Very curious to see it in TPA. While I've played it on Android, there's really no comparison to the console experience, IMHO. The improvement in quality between TOTAN from PHOF to TPA is remarkable, so I'm sure MM will be quite a treat indeed.

It does not. But the first couple weeks in July are looking pretty promising, given Mike's update in this thread.
As much as it's fun to paint M$ as the bad guy, it really seems like we can chalk the delays up to miscommunication/inexperience on Farsight's part regarding the submission process. It seems like they got it straightened out, and all of the *content* has been approved, it was simply the means by which they were trying to deliver it that's currently being reviewed. I can't find it now, but I thought I saw an FS employee stating that M$ was committed to expediting things, given the earlier troubles.
Regardless: Assuming Xbox users are caught up at least to MB/Gorgar by the end of July, I remain hopeful that we'll start seeing a much more predictable schedule going forward. iOS/Android will obviously be getting tables weeks in advance due to the much shorter approval window, but hopefully we can come to expect no more than 4-6 weeks between these releases and those for consoles.
If it's the MM recreated by JP Salas, then I would disagree. I've had enough of his small balls (no pun intended)
However, he(they) got the difficulty level right on, don't know about TPA. in PHOF it was too easy.- Status
