Damn I'm looking forward to the Android version! Hope it plays better on my phone than TPA does, ie. being actually playable.
It only exists on real tables with broken flippers. Flippers have two coils for motion: a high-powered coil (which makes the initial flip) and a low-powered coil (which holds a raised flipper in place). The high-powered coil activates only briefly when you press the flipper button; the low-power coil stays activated as long as you hold the flipper button. A poorly maintained table with a broken low-powered coil exhibits the same behaviour as the upper flipper in Rob-O-Bot. It's not an intentional feature of any real table that I know of.
A few posts before I gave a suggestion for an extra addition to Rob-o-Bot: a short DMD game. This youtube was posted in another forum section, start watching from 3:00 to 3:15 and this shows how cool a quick DMD-game could be!
Wow, had a really great game and I am now 12th place on the leaderboards!
Anyone here managed to defeat the robot twice?
Love the table! Great design and graphics.
One question though: Is it intentional that the ball is spinning all the time?
If you trap it, or even before launching it you can see it slightly "rumbling" around
and spinning constantly, at least on my game (iPad 3).
iPad 1, v5.1.1 and it works fine. Very nice table! When I turn the music off it reminds me a bit of EM tables, which I adore. Love your sounds!
However, when the ball is flying around and DMD is scrolling, there is some stuttering. I don't know if it's because of iPad1's horsepower or the moving camera. Otherwise, this is as good as TPA and Zen...if you'll port it for PC or PS3 I'll buy it again
Good work, men!
From the description: "It’s even a bit rugged and worn from its years in the arcades"
So I guess we can call it a feature -- one of the flippers are broken!
I love it! An old table with little imperfections. You know, perhaps even one of the table-lights could flicker a bit?! (a loose wire..)
-I'll certainly buy it for the Mac as well when it will be released!

We have a Release Candidate ready, so hopefully we can release it in a few days. We are currently doing the final testing.

will the lightng support older devices? at least the ipad3
id love abit more to do but the tables got almost perfect flow already aside from nudge
i dont trust the nudge, so i see a ball going for a frain nudging isnt my first thought
can you explain the mechanics behind your current nudge implmentation i just dont get it
playing like a mad man tho
