...so here's another thing I realized...

Table packs 6 and 18 (which are both from September) have similarly-themed tables: one golf-themed table (NGG on pack 6, Tee'd Off on pack 18) with one horror-themed table (Elvira on pack 6, HH on pack 18). Now, this got me thinking... table pack 7 had a pool-themed table (Big Shot) with another horror-themed table (Scared Stiff), which might mean one thing...

Table pack 19 might consist of Eight Ball Deluxe and Tales from the Crypt or any other horror-themed table they've mentioned. Just saying...

Okay, all this talk of Evel made me go check out pics on ipdb. Somebody left the headlights on in the slingshot artwork.

The perkier the better! I hate censorship. In fact, the girls each need a pitcher of ice water for wet T-shirt contest! Now that it's out of the bag, Farsight will get wind of it and smudge it out for the ESRB, although it's not like they would ever really show up on a 1080p landscaped TV monitor. I've never been able to read the lamp/target descriptions, for instance. Doesn't matter if they scan it at 2400dpi; the details will just get lost anyway...

Nope. They still have a few PHOF re-releases to do before we see a double pack of new tables.

Haunted House and Tee'd Off....both boring tables...

Your statement reads as if it were a fact and not an opinion.

I wasn't too impressed with Haunted House when I played IRL but I'm going to keep an open mind and try to enjoy it in TPA.

Hey off course it is only my opinion, sorry for not mentioning that! :)

I just hope they bring out some more tables like T2 and the earlier ones, wasn't too impressed with the rest of latest table packs....

Edit: Before I just waited for the update to come and just bought them without really looking what the tables were, but now I already skipped 3 packs, and probably the fourth will be next month....:(

Blasphemy. Black Hole is my favorite table they have done so far, and I don't really go out of my way for the multivalve since I never score much with it. So Haunted House = 3 levels of awesomeness instead of two. You can't go wrong.

Your favorite table?? Did you at least play other pinball machines???!!

We have many members here who prefer the simpler playstyle of the 70s and 80s tables. I'm not one of them - give me the most complex rulesets you have - but Gorgar is.

Black Hole is my favorite too. And yes I've played some other tables. All of them in fact. A lot. Overall I am like 20th or so I think in total PHOF points. won the mobile STTNG tournament with 108 billion yesterday. my high score on Funhouse is 499 million. And I love the DMD games. but Black Hole is special :)

beat you on Pasha today =P

I love old tables with clear rules like "eight ball", 2001. when you play on them you actaully play game of skill - not some long routine of modern tables "take this task in a row, get multiball mode, another tasks, collect suppppaaa jackkkpooootttts in wizard mode".

Well here's my two cents, I'm with all of you I don't like earlier tables basically EM's and early 80's. I'm more of a late 80's and up, like for example Banzai Run is an 80's table and I love it, not my all time favorite but fun. The only real thing I like about Haunted House is the music, especially when the game is over, it sound so eerie in a Church music kinda way, just listen to it. My two all-time favorite pinball machines are The Wizard Of Oz, and Family Guy, I could play those tables until my arms fall off. I don't know why but I just can, I also like a lot Wheel Of Fortune. There's something about that table that keeps me coming back for more, and it seems like it's one of the most hated table here. It has a beautiful colored playfield and a great light show, it also has a decent sound system and other stuff. For a game I thought I was going to hate, it once I played it I was very surprised along with Big Buck Hunter Pro also.

Actually I was talking about real pinball, I played a lot but definitely not all, probably never going to either.... Gues a lot more people like the old simple games than I thought, I just find them plain boring, played them in real and don't like them, played a couple on TPA and don't like them either or better said less. Scoring doesn't say anything for me, I play for fun, even in real pinball matches I keep playing for fun, and although I sometimes make it in the top, it won't make me a good match player since you have to go for the points then, same thing goes for TPA, on most games I don't even have all goals yet, I really don't care actually, on top of that the scores can be anything in TPA, I played one time on a tablet of a friend which was way slower than my own and at least doubled or tripled my own scores, anyway, scores on the TPA online list are abnormal high, no way those could be made on a real pinball machine, so I don't see too much similarity in a real pinball game and a game on TPA.
I normally play on 1 of 4 pins in my living room, if I had more money and room I would buy a lot more pins, but to be able to play and practice some rules I like TPA a lot, also when traveling I like to play some pinball on my tablet, again nothing like the real thing, but still a lot of fun. But as said, I like the pins that have at least some nice rule set where you can play various things and not just the same thing over and over again. Just my opinion :)
