Table Pack #27 speculation

If things goes the same way as usual.
This friday we should have the confirmation for junkyard and a twitch live.
Then next friday the official table release.
I'm really exited for this one, curious to see how they handled the crane.

That sounds a little ambitious IMO. I'd guess release more like 5/9. I'm guessing that wrecking ball will be difficult to get acting realistically (if it is JY). But I hope you are right, I'd rather it sooner than later too.

Season 2 still did have some gems. Cue Ball Wizard was solid fun, despite lack of scoring balance. Played Class of 1812 in arcades years ago, so it brought back some fine memories. Centaur and Flight 2000 were solid old-school tables. White Water was definitely the highlight of season 2-simply because it's been one of my all-time favorites for more than two decades.

Don't forget Whirlwind and Pin*Bot.

Based on the current timing, the release schedule should be:
5/9, 6/6, 7/4, 8/1 and the final table of season 3 on 8/29.

Can I play, too? Here's what I'm feeling for Table Packs #27-30:

#27: Safe Cracker: Safe Cracker is the only remaining little-to-no-licensing-hassle WPC-95 left other than Junkyard (though I do hope that we see Congo someday), so it's highly likely that we'll see it this season. Can FarSight implement the tokens and the Assault on the Vault? This table wouldn't feel complete without them.

#28: Corvette: This will tie in nicely with the release of Mustang, so I think this is a likely pick for this year. Corvette has some Early Installment Weirdness re: George Gomez's design style (I believe it's his only table with a third flipper) and some of the modes are a bit goofy, but it still plays smoothly and has a wonderfully cheesy mid-'90s rock soundtrack to boot.

#29: Diner: The last couple of tables selected via forum polls took a few months to come out, so don't count on Diner for June. Diner seems very similar to Taxi from what I've seen, but that isn't a bad thing at all. Overall, this should be one of the highlights of Season 3.

#30: Jack*Bot: The Pin*Bot trilogy has to be completed at some point, so what better time than at the end of Season 3? Jack*Bot often gets deried as a 'Pin*Bot clone', but the rules make for a completely different experience. Casino Run is an incredible wizard mode and the expanded multiball rules give the table another challenge worth pursuing. Overall, I think Jack*Bot would make for an ideal season-closing table.

Agree-but since I had already played those in PHoF (and got all wizard goals in both), I wasn't in quite the rush to play them upon release as the ones I mentioned. Pin*Bot's sun special is much easier to get in TPA IMO. That's another plus.

Totally agree. While it didn't have the heavy hitters that season 1 had, it was a very solid season indeed and had a lot of really cool alpha/num tables in it.

Agree-but since I had already played those in PHoF (and got all wizard goals in both), I wasn't in quite the rush to play them upon release as the ones I mentioned. Pin*Bot's sun special is much easier to get in TPA IMO. That's another plus.

I found that special nearly impossible until I started using alley passes to light the advance planet target.

I'm predicting F-14 Tomcat for Table Pack 27, since the odd Table Packs this season so far are by two designers with the last name Ritchie. Also notice on the Top Ten poll, that Earthshaker! and Diner are in between Black Knight 2000 and Junkyard, with F-14 Tomcat coming after JY, and Cyclone coming after F-14. With this ranking, I believe that Farsight had excluded F-14 Tomcat from the poll, giving a hint that the game may be in Season 3. In addition, I also believe that Farsight does not want to produce a buggy table for Diner like it did for Flight 2000 when the latter table won the Stern poll, which is why I don't think we'll see the former table in Table Pack 27. Therefore, the table I believe we will see in Table Pack 27 is F-14 Tomcat.

Well,my guesses to finish out Season 3 are:

Diner (obviously)
Safe Cracker
Either BSD or Addams. (BSD if they can't fit Addams in this season,and then maybe Addams becomes the Halloween pin)
Banzai Run.

Why Banzai Run?
Two reasons:

A) Because I really,really,want it - and it was posted way back as a strong possibility on the FB page before being shot down.Which brings me to my B point:

B) Because the same thing was said on FB about High Speed,and now look what we have.

Because I am legit.

No seriously, I think one of the primary factors in terms of Party Zone's popularity is because it is an unlicensed DMD and follows up on two games already recreated for Pinball Arcade, Elvira and the Party Monsters / Dr. Dude. I'm really excited to see PZ on the app if it does get recreated.
