They had T2 in the office months before the kickstarter happened. They turned that thing around in 4 weeks. If it is indeed TAF, would not surprise me in the least if they already started modeling Thing and the electric chair, as those are the only complicated items on the table.

Also, if it is TAF, I want the story behind all the efforts to secure the license.

That would be almost as good as the game itself. Almost.

You guys DO realize that this is Farsight we're talking about, right? lol

I've never seen a company with so many delays, bugs, and various other problems. Now, whether or not any and all of those issues are entirely their fault, they still continue to happen. So, with that said, I'd be shocked if we got TAF to kick off Season 4.

I hope I'm wrong, though, for everyone's sake.
Yes, but all you have to do is look at the Terminator 2 Kickstarter (which ended in July). That one had a really quick turnaround time (a month later). Even the PS3 version was expedited and came out much sooner than expected (in September).

They clearly had made, or almost finished, development of T2 before the Kickstarter had finished. I was always suspicious of that. You have to wonder what they would have done if the KS failed... admit they could afford it themselves anyway?

I always thought the same thing. I mean, Jay was going on about how this was one of his most favorite tables and how getting it was a rare opportunity. I have a feeling we were getting the table regardless if the KS passed or not. lol

Also Mike didn't exactly deny my question for Adams Family ID in the table order thread ;)
I too have a strong feeling that they have the table ready.
The money needed is just for the licenses...

A la Terminator 2. I'm pretty sure FS published the table before the ink dried on the contract. :)

Might have been one of those things where jay would have come out of pocket if the table KS for t2 was short a couple grand. Being his favorite table he might not have minded taking a hit. The only reason they go the kickstarter route is the cost of the license would make the sales of the tables break even or worse

If TAF is the Kickstarter and it does succeed in funding, there is simply one reason why it will not be delayed. These premium licenses, once signed, have a time limit. The longer they wait, the less months they have to sell it. Which is why I am very surprised they haven't gotten T2 out for more platforms given that only has about 14 months, give or take a couple months, on the time they can sell it.

Yea If its TAF the Kickstarter would probably begin in a couple weeks so it can be done in time for Halloween. Thing is though I doubt they'd release 2 hotly requested tables back to back like that so that would make BSD less likely :(
