I just watched your youtube link and that pin looks like it would be a lot of fun backboard and all. Maybe TPA will make this table one day. When ZapCon hits this area in April, I hope they have this pin there

Just googled Acid Queen and wow, wtf? Is Tommy worth renting/illegally downloading?

The movie is okay. To me the best Tommy experience is the live at leeds concert CD. That is worth tracking down. both discs are phenomenal. probably my favorite who album.

Wow, I must be mis-remembering this game as I don't recall spending as much time on the board as these two guys were. But there it is.

In any case I LOVED the time I spent with Safe Cracker. The table is smaller than a normal pin so the ball moves around it so fast - its probably one of the fastest pins I've played. The flippers on the table are also very small and it takes a bit of time to get used to them. But once multiball kicks off that's just killer trying to keep the balls in play as they're firing around all over the place and who knows what's going on (you can't take your eyes off the table for a second while playing).

No collector would want this as an initial pin as it wouldn't tide them over but when you have 50+ pins to play in TPA this would be a great choice to add actual variety. I can see after the initial burn out returning to this one off and on.

Live at Leeds first album I ever owned..a few years back they also remastered and released the show in its entirety..I think it shares best live album with The Ramones "It's Alive" from New Years Eve 1977..they were on fire that night and inspired members of The Clash and the Sex Pistols to kick some ass

I think Tommy is a movie that has great scenes. Some of which are absolutely magnificent. The problem is the movie taken as a whole does not feel cohesive and the end product ends up being less than the sum of its parts.

Very accurate description. It's still totally worth a watch, an essential pop culture icon if you care at all about either rock or pinball, and absolutely if you're into both.

Yeah that is a fun little table. Played it for the first time last year and really loved it.

But if they do bring it to TPA they really need to nail down the fire bell sound. It is so loud when it goes off and that's part of the charm of the game.

TX-Sector is always a possibility for a Gottlieb.

TX-Sector is definitely a neat table, you don't see it getting mentioned very often.

There's also another one I like called Gladiators, which is underrated as hell but still quite good.
