After the first plunge you will be so caught up in all the action, lights, sound, toys, modes, and callouts, you won't have time to even think about Fester being slightly altered. Side by side and blown up makes it more noticable. Trust me on this one. Play it and you will just be having too much fun to even think about it.

... until they find something else to complain about...

Noticed how no one has mentioned the Wednesday and Pugsley face alterations on the backglass....im guessing they didnt get the ok from these either then?

Because they need to clearly have a different image than Lloyd. You have his eyes and nose to play with. They changed the forehead wrinkles, but that is hardly defining of an actor. No doubt this had to go through some legal approval too.

Folks, you seriously are not going to care one lick that this Fester is different. This is not the T2 Skull which is completely iconic. I didn't need a side by side to see what was wrong with that one. This is about as shocking as going from Marilyn in Taxi to Lola...meaning you stop thinking about it almost as soon as you are playing.

+1.

Again, it could be worse, we could've had no TAF table at all!

I'm not complaining, really, I'm pretty sure I won't mind any of it when I start playing the actual table.

Hey, since they can just change Lloyd's likeness, and Michael J. Fox isn't in the Back to the Future table either, does it mean that one is much easier to get the rights to now?

I thought it was just Fester and Pugsley that received touch-ups, and that Wednesday made it in just fine.

Nope, they were trying to work out a deal with Lloyd for BTTF while trying to get his likeness for TAF, but he wanted too much.

That's what I thought as well, but apparently only Julia and Houston were done deals. I'm pretty sure that Jay said, multiple times in audio interviews, that everyone was on board but Workman and Lloyd. Then again, with all the failed promises over the years, nothing would surprise me. (Rom emulation, Pinball After Dark, XBOX 360, etc.)

I didn't mind the Fester change, that was at least understandable, but if the backglass is also changed, what the heck was the 100K+ for? The backglass is kind of a big deal. Does anyone have a picture, I didn't see the backglass in the last 2 TAF videos that were posted?

The $100k was for the Addams license (title and Paramount ownership), Raul Julia (VERY prominent in the machine), Angelica Houston (also prominent), etc. The backglass isn't really that bad.

Fester's and Pugsley's faces are altered on the backglass, playfield and in-game flyer due to licensing issues with Lloyd and Workman.

Wednesday is untouched on the playfield and in-game flyer but seems to have been altered on the backglass for some reason. I'm inquiring about this at the moment and will hopefully get some feedback on it.

In the real world, the backglass is a big deal. In TPA, not so much.

It is if the company's mission statement is the preservation of pinball tables, as well as the fans shelling out over 100k. (Just sayin)

I understand Pugsly and Lloyd being changed, but according to Bobby himself, everyone else was on board. I'm not sure why anyone else would be altered? I'll await what PiN WiZ finds out.

I've just been informed that Christina Ricci's likeness will be restored on the backglass before release so rest assured that Wednesday will be unaltered on the backglass when the table is released.

Thanks for the kick in the butt lettuce. :)

I think Fester is ok....I would have gone thicker with the outline of the head to match the original artwork, thin the nose....better fidelity to the eyes and close the mouth a little.
