Besides, it's been a while since we had a licensed table, what's to say that Farsight won't be about to throw a Harley Davidson style curveball to mix things up.

NASCAR or Indianapolis 500 would be somewhat timely. They may not be the most popular choices, but I've enjoyed the real tables quite a bit. Fish Tales is just my wager, not a guarantee by any stretch...

Allow me to clear this up...with Pinball Arcade, they are not using any assets from PHOF to build tables. They purchase the machine, tear it down, photograph, scan, and completely digitize every part. When I was up there, there was not one release in TPA that was not accounted for with an actual pinball machine.

Therefore, there is no reason not to think that the 2 table release schedule would change. I do believe you'd get older tables with fewer elements paired with more busy tables, but that is as far as I'm willing to speculate.

Now then, you wanna talk unlicensed tables? Here's just a sampling of better known from Williams...

Comet, High Speed, Grand Lizard, F-14 Tomcat, Fire!, Big Guns, Space Station, Cyclone, Banzai Run, Swords of Fury, Jokerz!, Earthshaker, Black Knight 2000, Police Force, Bat Cats, Mousin' Around, Diner.

That's just system 9 and 11 games! Now look at the DMD games...

Hurricane, Black Rose, Fish Tales, Road Show, Jack*Bot, Safecracker, Junk Yard.

So 24 tables, one year's worth, of JUST Williams machines. Now throw in your Bally widebodies and classic tables like Fathom, Xenon, and such. Plus the older Stern tables we just took a poll on. Finally, add into the mix the not too expensive licenses, and no, I don't think Fish Tales is your guaranteed next table pack. Would I like it? You bet. But look how long they had AFM and sat on it before it finally saw release. There are a lot of AA and A tables still to go, and with so few DMD non licensed to pick from, I suspect they'll get spread out over a longer period of time.

Quoted for goodness :)

Yeah, the polls should be fun.
I know this isn't an official FarSight poll, but the part about choosing from, "carefully selected tables", makes me think there might have been some FS involvement in what pins are included in the poll.

Oh boy oh boy, can't wait for the Gottlieb/Premier round so I can NOT vote for Genesis, the ugliest table I have ever seen!

syf! syt!

who want genesis we do! hah

hopefully this will draw the spotlight to less known tables, personally i hope for a good early ss showing.

medusa paragon warlock GENESIS these tables may not have some of the depth of dmd games but they are a purer version of pinball to me. no real gimmicks just beat me if you can sorta stuff.

Well obviously, if the polls are to decide which tables will be in Season Packs 3+4 you'd assume that Farsight would have to look at the data from the previous polls and strike out those which they obviously wouldn't be able to afford (Addams Family etc.)

What I'm curious about is that if these polls are to decide what tables are in Season packs 3+4, does this mean that it's looking very unlikely that there'll be another Kickstarter? Or would you naturally assume that if they struck gold with something that they'd run the kickstarter and move a confirmed table into the future?

EDIT: Didn't see the Premium poll, my mind just skipped over it >_<

Medusa and Paragon are two of the coolest looking tables ever made.

I'm looking forward to the Stern/Sega/Data East tables poll the most. Hopefully it won't be all newish Stern tables and Sega and Data East will be well represented.

The Premium licensed poll is the one I'm most excited about.

I'm afraid its going to be a dead giveaway if Adams Family is in it. Not one I tend to vote, but I understand its the major popular one.

Though, I am curious with the Stern one.

Edit: Thought it was one choice only. I feel silly. :|

I am new here, but cannot wait for these polls to begin. Hopefully our insight will help determine future releases for this fantastic game.
