Can't decide which poll I'm more excited about! Bring them all on!

What about a poll to see which polls we should have after this series of polls?

Or the poll to vote on which "off brand" machine licenses FS should investigate looking into; Atari, Interflip etc

It seems that the same few members who had something non-productive to say about the S.A.M. poll are posting their sarcastic remarks once again...this time in the News Discussion Thread. The bottom line is, this is not Facebook, so if you are not particularly interested in a certain thread, poll, discussion, etc. then I suggest you over look them and keep your sarcasm to yourself as it has no place on this forum.

I whole-heratedly agree PIN WIZ...SAM games are actually pretty good and pinball is pinball to me. What's there to be sarcasric about? Stern does liscenses because it's the only way for them to sell tables at 5 grand a pop. They did start back up with a non-liscensed table -- High Roller Casino....but that's the only unlicensed Stern pin I know of...I am not going to enter the fray. My real point is I got banned at one point for the equivalent of what they're doing. And I have learned there is constructive critisim and just being an moron. Thank you Mr. Lacey for lifting my ban awhile ago I just have temper problems that I need to keep in check. lol.

Thanks for the update Pin Wiz! I read most of the news update on the FS facebook yesterday but they made no mention of the T2 kickstarter.

I just read on the kickstarter page that "We're targeting a release date of August 2013, but it's possible this date might slip if we encounter unforeseen problems in development." It's nice to see that the lead time between the end of the kickstarter and the release date is short on this one.

Does anyone know if the PC kickstarter beta build entitlement will include all kickstarter supporters who chose PC as their platform of choice (ie: 10$ +), as per Farsight's January announcement in an email, or are they now reverting back to include only those people who 'originally' qualified for a beta build (is: $100 plus)?

I was wondering the same thing.

Yes, that is very odd that FS made no mention of the kickstarter!

Note that on the pledge summmary email, there is an estimated delivery date of September 2013.

Bold decision to launch the T2 kickstarter with still no PC release. Farsight's credibility is probably at the lowest point ever right now, which is the contrary of what you would need to fund a kickstarter.

They may not have had a choice. A lot of licensing arrangements are only valid for a limited time and then must be renegotiated.

I was gonna say the same thing. As I've mentioned elsewhere, they have a very limited window with the T2 license. There is another game company that paid HUGE dollars for the exclusive license to all things Terminator, and FarSight is only being allowed to do this because pinball is not competing with their project. It really is a now or never situation, and while I wish they could've waited for the PC release and the Xbox mess to be fixed, I think they simply can't.

I love how Jay rattles off the list of Ritchie tables and it's High Speed, The Getaway, F-14, and THEN ST:TNG, with no mention of Black Knight. Gonna go out on a limb here and say maybe those tables are fresh on his mind for some reason?

Unlike TZ, they already had the table before the KS began. Probably because it's not an expensive or difficult one to acquire. Development time has probably shortened some since last year. Also, what's to prevent them from digitizing the table for themselves so they've probably started preliminary work. It's only illegal to sell it if the licenses aren't paid for. That's probably not the reason (and certainly not financially logical) but I could see early work being done due to the success of the two previous KS's.
