I like a DMD when playing with friends. Fun to watch when someone else is playing.

DMDs in general. They really don't do much for me. I like newer machines, but I could live without the actual DMD. All I need to see is my score. The rest is distracting.
Strange, I really like a lot of DMD work and find that they can add a lot of fun. Each to their own. Not that I'm against machines that only display the score, like them too.
Guess you won't be a fan of Wizard of Oz's LCD screen then? I think I could probably live without that.
I've played WoZ. It was ok, but the screen is quite over-the-top, IMO.
In my opinion LCDs only belong in virtual pinball machines to simulate a DMD, not in real pinballs
Chalk up another for video modes. I don't mind dmd's, backglass activity, full videos on the backglass ala Wizard of Oz, live dogs playing poker, or whatever....but I just can't stand stopping the pinball action to play a video game. It's silly.
Another thing is the jump rope in Champion Pub. Hate that thing.
