Not only am I a huge Spidey fan, but I am a huge fan of Steve Richie tables. I would drop $200 on a kickstarter for that table alone. Sony owns half the movie rights for Spidey, and I don't see any reason Disney would have to block the license. I doubt they would experience any conflict of interest with Zen, as Zen seems to be just as big a fans of TPA as any of us.

It is not as much about Disney blocking the table from being produced, it is more about Disney not coming to the table to even discuss the matter. Farsight would be free and clear to probably use everything from the movie. It's just about getting the character name and likeness. Although if you go to marvel/Disney and say, "hey everything is in order, we just need you and you will get a crap ton of money," maybe this could get then in the door. It is a rather unique license situation.

Someone asked about Hook on Facebook recently and the FS response was...right now we are not planning on doing Hook.

Nah, it's not a popular table and rarely gets requested.

As much as I'd like to see it, because it actually looks pretty fun, I doubt it would ever happen. The table would need a KS, without question.

Maybe they thought there was? You do realize they have to research a table before they choose it, right?

I would def. pay attention to what they say and how they say it, esp on Twitch. It's pretty easy to tell when they're being honest or trying to throw us off. Like when I asked about BSD on the Twitch Feed, they pretty much much just ignored me and wouldn't respond, meanwhile the FB guy is saying "Anything could happen" while posting smiley face after smiley face. It was a no brainer, and that stuff went on for like 2-3 months, because I kept hounding them, wanting to see what they'd say and how they'd say it.

When I asked about POTO, one month they said "I wouldn't bet on it", but the next month I asked, they started saying goofy stuff like "Well, who knows, TPA could be like the 'Field of Dreams' and it could happen." A few hours later, we get the hint, and it's POTO. lol Again, it takes time for them to research stuff, and I'm sure a lot went into seeing if POTO was even an option, not only because of the table itself (possible licensing issues), but also if they could even do a Data East table.

Lets face it folks, the facebook reps aren't exactly going to go "oh yes, that's confirmed, in fact here's a list of all the tables we've got planned for Season 4"

Don't take anything too seriously, they're just trying to do a job.

I actually made a post about it last month on their FB page saying it would make a Halloween table. They liked the post, but didn't comment. It was a pretty good indication that they changed their tune (pun intended).

I don't think Phantom of the Opera is based on the 1989 movie; there is no hint of the actors from that movie. The art for the main woman protagonist was actually modeled after the designer's daughter.

I'm not sure what could be the final two licenses, but I'll take a guess and say Johnny Mnemonic, a widely praised table with a mediocre and forgotten license. I wonder if their agreement is more than just movie licenses? Any songs featured in well-liked tables that are licensed under Sony?

Baywatch is owned by Fremantle Enterprises. If FarSight wanted to pursue this I could probably hook them up with a licensing person.

It's based purely on the 1911 novel, with completely original artwork and original/unlicensed music. The model used for Christine is indeed the artist's daughter.

There is no connection, licensing or otherwise, to any movie or to the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

Most of Elvis's recordings (anything post-Sun Records) are for RCA, now owned by Sony. Best candidate that I know of although I'm sure that it would take more than just song clearances to fit it in.

AC/DC is indeed with Columbia (owned by Sony) now, but I don't know if their back catalog (not released by Sony) will be covered.

The same goes with the obvious licensed individual songs -- ZZ Top (High Speed 2) signed with RCA (Sony) for their final years... but Warner (not Sony) has their back catalog. Carlene Carter (Road Show) is all Warner.

If they were to re-theme unobtainable license tables (like Indiana Jones) then I could see them accomplishing allot out of the sony deal. They may just re-theme tables we already have like they are doing with Ghostbusters (haunted House). Because they are doing that table I think we can assume they are going to dig into all those property's and give us some more re-themed tables as well. It's quite a huge list of movies to work with.

My favorite tables are the one's with a good sense of humor like Medieval Madness and I like 80's and 90's nostalgia so
Here is my list of Columbia Pictures films from the 80's and 90's that I think would be fun or funny to play tables of.
1981- Heavy Metal (all the art would be sick on this table, such a great animated film)
1982- Death Wish 2 (Because Charles Bronson's mustache is awesome)
1982- Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl (becouse it's the only monty python they own)
1984- The Karate Kid (this would be AWESOME!!! and if they could get the music rights to Joe Esposito's "You're the best around" it would scream EPIC!!!)
1987- La Bamba (totally just put this on the list as a joke but La Bamba would actually be a fun song to play pinball to.... lalalala la bamba)
1993-Robin Hood: Men in Tights (this would be pretty funny)
1995-Dracula: Dead and Loving It (also pretty funny)
