The update was submitted last Tuesday, I'm guessing it will be approved today. The FH/CV update and MB/Gorgar update both took exactly a week to be approved.

Might be a little longer this time. Mountain Lion was just released today, and approval has taken longer than usual lately due to the large number of app updates being submitted in the weeks leading up to Mountain Lion.

iOS updates are still getting through…just saying they might have a bit more backlog right now.

Yea, didn't come out today either. I'm hoping tomorrow, or Friday at the latest.

The iOS update should be available by the end of this week pending Apple's approval.

Thanks for the info. That means I can probably stop checking my app store updates every half hour for today...

...and resume checking it with grim determination tomorrow ;)

Well it's classic rock translated to 8 (or maybe even 16?) bit music in case you didn't know. Didn't know the table personally so when I noticed that I was a tad dissappointed. Great table otherwise.

I think it´s FM synthesis to be specific, a similar chip that has been used in the Sega Genesis, hence the kinda "metallic" sound.

I actually really like the way it sounds, I love the sound of tables like Whirlwind or Addams Family. I also love the DCS sound design on CV, MM or ToTAN for sure, but I have a soft spot for this older sound hardware - gives it a very "arcadey", retro feel.

I can appreciate it more in Addams Family and such, with "cuter" music. But when it replicates rock music (similar to Twilight Zone) initially it just feels a bit...flat when you don't expect it. Once you get your expectancy levels in check it's fine though.

Yeah, I can definitely see that - recreating a song played by a full band with such limited audio hardware can sound pretty terrible! Reminds me a bit of those old console movie games that tried to emulate movie themes... or classical music:

Glad it's not just me ...

I got really excited for a split second an hour ago, until I saw the update was for Google Earth and not TPA ;)

sure we'll have it soon. look Apple, it's already out on Android... I know you've had much right now, with Mountain Lion and all, but come on; you gonna let Google run the show now?...
