There is no shortage of threads and posts in these fora on which tables you'd most like to see come to The Pinball Arcade. But, most of the requested tables are well known and very popular. A lot of people champion the high-cost, high-profile, Kickstarter-required licensed tables (The Addams...
I'm mainly a fan of the mid-80's to early-90's Williams tables. High Speed is my all-time fave. Within The Pinball Arcade, I find I play all the tables now and then.
Before I play any table on The Pinball Arcade, I always read all the rules thoroughly, even if I'm familiar with the table. One of my great frustrations with real pinball is not knowing the rules. The little rule card never tells you all you need to know. I think it actually enhances my...
Curious how this poll is so close, yet High Speed II (unfortunately as far as I'm concerned) vastly outperformed the original High Speed in PinWiz's Williams poll. I really hope PinWiz's poll's result doesn't torpedo the chances of the original High Speed being made. FWIW, I've also noticed...
Sorry for the cross-post quoting myself from another thread, but this addresses this topic directly:

Fish Tales and High Speed. If indeed they were waiting for additional licensing for Williams, and they secured it, this would get that ball rolling nicely.
Agreed, SYT. In fact, most of those 80's and 90's tables are the ones I'm most looking forward to. The Pinball Arcade's biggest appeal for me has always been the nostalgia for tables I used to play growing up. Granted, I've grown an appreciation for other tables that I wasn't familiar with...
The main tables I'm hoping for in Season 3 are the remaining holes in the solid-state Williams collection. Namely:
High Speed, Black Knight 2000, F-14 Tomcat, Earthshaker, and Red & Ted's Roadshow
If we get those five, I'll be satisfied with whatever else FarSight wishes to produce. There...
Eight Ball Deluxe seems distinctly more likely than Cue Ball Wizard. EBD has been requested so much more, and was such a ubiquitous table in its day. The historical significance of EBD dwarves that of CBW.
Agreed. The Gottlieb SS's have gotten a little wearisome lately. If you NEED to Gottlieb, maybe bring in an EM or two from the era when Gottlieb really was king of the hill. I'm really looking forward to 80's Williams (and a little Bally as well).
If they want to open a physical arcade, my bet is that they keep only a fraction of the tables in a new arcade in or near Big Bear Lake. Charge admission and keep the tables in free play mode. The tables may rotate in and out of that arcade as FarSight technicians or developers feel they want...
Pack #19 (probably) has Victory paired with Class Of 1812, I agree. Haunted House and Class Of 1812 in successive packs is plenty for Halloween. I doubt we'll see any more horror-themed stuff this year. I'm still guessing we'll see High Speed with Fish Tales, though one of those might be...
