Ah thanks for that re: flipper staging. I can stop trying that then, not a big deal anyway. If windows controller test doesn't give extra inputs on the shoulders I agree it's probably a TPA issue. Next up would be to find the TPA settings files, nuking those and reinstalling or doing a file...
Yeah thanks for the heads up on that. much cleaner interface than motioninjoy and no ads spewing everywhere. At least from preliminary testing I can't get any of the problems you're describing. I'd suggest going through the profile you're using in better DS3 and make sure you have nothing...
I've been using motioninjoy but I'll try out the better ds3 program and see if I get the same kinds of problems. Meanwhile if it's an option in the program try disabling the gyroscope and see if that helps. It's not going to be useful in TPA anyway so it's worth a shot.
Seconding that I have no problems with getting nudges except when I actually tap the stick. One thing you should check out since you mentioned using a sixaxis (which I also use) is that you don't have nudge assigned to the gyroscope in the controller either in game or in motioninjoy or whatever...
Any word on possibly fixing the nudging for gamepads and such so there's an actual way to adjust how hard you shove the table? PS3 is a good reference where it worked perfectly in that a slight tap gave a very small nudge that would never tilt or warn unless you did a lot of them in a row, and a...
For some reason fraps shows me a constant 60 FPS even when I'm getting frameskips due to something or the other. I'm not sure what the issue is honestly. Just wanted to give a heads up that it's apparently not infallible.
I've run into something rather odd. Whenever I try to stream the game using OBS the game lags to a lesser or greater degree depending on the table. I started digging some more into it and my cpu usage never goes above 25%, and my GPU barely breaks 30% (CPU usage 13% if I stop streaming). I don't...

Not putting this in the bug thread since I'm not sure what the deal actually was and it didn't break the game, but earlier when I was done playing Creature from the Black Lagoon I exited the table menu to the main menu and I got a black screen with white text that looked like a leftover debug...
At least on Creature from the Black Lagoon the good old score rollover thing isn't working in the PC version. Cranked out 25 billion earlier and it only counted 5 of them into the leaderboard. I thought this stuff was fixed ages ago?
The gamefiles are stored in steamdrive:\steam/steamapps/common/PinballArcade/* where steamdrive is the HD partition your steam files are in. You should be able to find the exe there.
Looking good is subjective and apparently partially due to hardware since I don't get any of the jaggies with PP on, but the PC version already looks somewhat better than the PS3 one as far as I'm concerned.
I'm not sure if this is accurate, but if there is analog nudge in place it's set to a way too high base level where even touching the control will give a serious shove. I could control my nudge sensitivity on the PS3 exactly. The problem this creates is that nudging on old EM tables can end the...
Agreed. Having to actually use and/or friend people on facebook to get a friends list in game is really terrible. Steam friends integration shouldn't be a massive job hopefully.
I'm not going to bother filing a real report about this but victory has some really weird massive clown flippers. Can anyone confirm if that's the case with the real machine? They're seriously almost double the size of any other table released.
I have to note that the game is surprisingly hard on the CPU. My graphics card has no trouble running it (switching between 16xAA with post process and high ball reflect and nothing enabled has no performance impact), but if I stream while I play I get slight slowdowns on some tables. This isn't...
