Well that depends, if you're buying Season Passes, Pro Season Passes (at $40 a pop, that's going to be $280 over 7 seasons!), or individual tables (on iOS, unless you wait until the end of the season, you have to do this).
But let's assume a (non-Pro) Season Pass for Seasons 1 & 2, when they...
http://www.bbc.com/drwho will answer most of everything.
As for the "plot" of the table... umm... it was made up specifically for the table. The Time Expander in particular. Seriously, read the flyer, it's as good an explanation of that particular McGuffin as anywhere else.
Since we've just gone through a Premier/Gottlieb-heavy Season 6, this poll is back and expanded!
The Premier/Gottlieb tables in TPA get a huge bashing. From Cue Ball Wizard to Cactus Jack's, they're almost universally lambasted with endless amounts of scorn poured over them. Surely though...
shutyertrap, since you're on Verizon check if you can "upgrade" to the plan that rolls over data. When I did that, I ended up paying less per month for the 4Gb plan with rollover, than without.
Just don't go accidentally streaming an entire football game over data when you forget to turn WiFi...
Okay, I went for:
Paragon, Corvette, Fathom, Shadow, Rollergames, Sorceror, Demolition Man, Comet, Surf'N'Safari, Sprit Of '76, Surf Champ
I would've voted for, if present:
Seawitch (instead of Fathom)
Flash (instead of Sorceror)
Pinball Magic (instead of Rollergames)
Big Bang Bar (not sure...
The challenge with Batman '66 and Aerosmith isn't going to be the license (again, I am making the assumption that digital re-creation rights are baked into whatever licenses Stern have), but the new displays. Going forward every new Stern is going to have those displays, so it stands to reason...
Welcome to TPA Fans Forum.
As for your wishlist... Pabst Can Crusher is unlikely to appear, but the table it's based on, Whoa Nellie!, will be coming to Stern Pinball Arcade at an as-yet-to-be-determined date in the future. Maybe this year if we're lucky.
1. Beta testing is ongoing on Android; I can't speak for other platforms.
2. The release date for Ghostbusters was given as March, so perhaps expect news soon? (Yeah, I know, quite a bit to ask....)
3. No idea if a release date was ever given for Whoa Nellie.
4. Maybe would be nice to get...
Yeah, in the Android beta the table was set to "Novelty" mode so it wasn't giving out EBs. It was correctly set to "Replay" mode for the final build on Android and PC, I guess it got missed in the iOS build.
AC/DC came before Star Trek, so chances are it didn't have any digital rights attached. Note how there was no need for a Kickstarter for Star Trek (or Mustang), hmm? Or for Ghostbusters.
The assumption is that Stern have baked in the rights to produce a digital version of every one of their physical games since at least Star Trek; so GoT would come ready-licensed. It's just a matter of time.
The Shadow and TZ do it best, because the mini-playfields are sufficiently different (Breakout, magna-flip).
I also like the mini-playfield in Zen's Doom pinball, even though it's just another Breakout clone. Not a real physical pin of course.
I think we'll see a lot of this. CJ is a very polarizing table it seems. So far all my playing time (in the Android beta) has been with the sound turned very low, so maybe that's why I've not been annoyed by the music / callouts yet. Sure it's not got much in the way of features, but there...
Sure, but the table tuning means it's by no means an easy feat to loop it more that 5 or 6 times in one go. Perhaps it'll be easier on the Steam version, but on Android using my thumbs it's tricky. And given that it's a switch-based not timer-based feature, you have zero grace.
Overall I'd...
I need to correct you about the center lights on Cactus Jacks. They're not tied to the bonus multiplier, but to the current fruit/vegetable.
At the start of the game you're on Eggs. No lights are lit.
Complete the two flashing drops (one in each bank) to light the next fruit/veg and light the...
