My god, I want nothing more from Farsight than platform parity in gameplay. It will never happen. BTW, I also hate video modes. If I wanted to play a video game I would play a video game. The collision detection on those is always terrible and the games always feel sluggish.

I just noticed the black dots you described appearing on PotO. It seemed to me that as soon as the flipper flipped the ball the black dot appeared exactly where the ball was going to go under the stairs. Then, when the ball arrives, the dot disappears.
