Nice Sir_LANs-a-lot! nudnick is probably right, it doesn't need "TPA" on it, we all know for which game it's made for anyway :)
I just tried to convert the second one (i prefer with colors) to an icon file and the text is a bit too small, it's not much readable once reduced to a smaller...
It would be nice if someone who's good at photoshopping could design an icon for the mod executable, right now i'm using a generic icon i've found somewhere and it's a bit ugly. The idea would be to design something with a pinball ball and/or a camera and the text "PBA Free Camera Mod" or "Free...
The private beta testing of the DX11 compatible build of the mod has just started, if everything goes well it will be publicly released during the week.
Because it's not ready yet, in fact the working version you were referring to was made to work on DX9 build only, i had to update it for the DX11 build it's a lot of work and it's not 100% ready to be used without issues. I prefer to spend some times adjusting things and release a finished...
I'll release the mod as soon as it's done i promise :)
I made a lot of changes these last days to the mod, i've completely redesigned the UI and i've implemented most of the things left on my "todo list before release" but i've spent much much time on the "3 views feature" 1moreastronaut asked...
Yes that would be cool but i thought about it and the main difficulty isn't to add the hotkeys binded to the different views, it's to find an easy way to use it, i don't really know how to setup everything on the overlay to make it as ergonomic as possible.
Of course it would be possible to make such a thing with my mod, let's say that instead of having only one saved cam file per table (this is the way it works actually, one cam file per table e.g. "AddamsFamily.cam"), i can give the ability to save 3 cam files per table:
- AddamsFamily(1).cam...
At the time he wrote this, it was not possible to play in portrait mode without manually copying dx11_settings.dat in "My Games/Pinball Arcade" folder, the settings defined in the config utility were not saved properly, it has been fixed recently.
For those who are curious to see how the mod...
I've started to update my mod on DX11 public beta build and it goes well, here are 2 screens to show you how it looks with the first tests i made in hybrid and full table view:
For now it will only work on the DX11 build, it would require too much work to maintain it updated on both versions.
Yes it works with the Oculus Rift mod, the public release of the free cam mod should come soon.
In its current state, it's ready to be released, no bugs have been reported recently but i'm waiting the DX11 update, meanwhile i'm adding some new features asked by the beta testers.
I want to release my mod after the DX11 update because some changes have been made on the engine and i must...
Yes it's certainly possible to code such a mod on Pinball FX2 but i don't own the game and maintaining the mod updated for PBA and PBFX2 would require a lot of work.
Let's focus on PBA for now, once the mod is publicly released maybe i'll take a look at FX2 if i got time.
Wow that's a lot of work SickBoy! Especially when it comes to center the flippers with a ruler on the screen :P
I never thought of playing with this "hybrid view" before but it looks really nice!
Yes! Sadly i could have done it myself but don't have much time as i'm working on the mod, if someone here has some webcoding skill and time to spend, it could be a good idea to create some sort of online database for camera coordinates files (*.cam) where everybody would be able to submit their...
