From our Facebook:
Due to the length of the delays on the Xbox 360, we are offering to switch kickstarter backer platforms to any other platform we support. If the base game is needed to play (for example the PS3), we will be happy to provide a means to getting the base game free-of-charge. We...
On PS3 it's rendered in essentially two 1280x720 buffers (actual buffer is 1280 x 1440+ a small gap in between). Then on your TV it shows each eye in alternating frames. So the resolution is 1280x720.
That'll change in the future.

Personally I use it for testing to make sure things work.
I think less skilled beginner players may want to use it to learn the table, special shots and how to score well.
Have you tried pulling the L1/R1 triggers (or possibly L2/R2, sorry I'm not as familiar with PS3) to see if that helps? On Xbox360 if I hold the LB and RB down the ball comes to nearly a stop. LB lowers gravity so the ball can move easier and RB kinda acts like a brake slowing the ball down...
True, bugs aren't the fault of Sony or Microsoft. However updating DLC isn't just about fixing bugs. We would need to update DLC to add new features, improve physics, lighting, adding pro menu, etc.
At some point I plan to switch to using PC.
There are a few reasons I currently use Xbox as...
I'm not sure on PS3, it doesn't sound like it. On Xbox I think this is the only way to go. However I can't get a straight answer from dev support, still working on how we do that.
I personally don't know. Some people however have issues with download sizes.
When we put together a table, the Xbox version is sent to Josh Sharpe who plays it and gives us feedback on what to fix. When we've fixed all his comments he approves the table, and then it goes to Roger Sharpe for final approval.
Few things to keep in mind. The game may not match our real...
I'm not all that familiar with Sony's DLC process. I was told that you can't update thier DLC, but only update the main app (which you can include dlc with). However app updates are incremental, so any patch has to contain all previous patches.
On PC it's 6.5GB, total install is over 30GB.
Yes, that's what I meant.

Bobby does talk a bit about the PC build. We hope to have an announcement in the near future.
We plan to emulate any tables we make going forward, that can be emulated. Doing tables we already released is a bit of work, so it'll depend on management's decisions on which ones to do and when. BK in particular needs it cause of the bugs.
Just to clarify on the update issues with consoles.
Sony doesn't allow you to update DLC at all, so the only way to update that DLC is add it to the main game update. This increases the game update size. Once you add to the update, future updates will be that size (or larger)
Microsoft has a...
We plan to switch Black Knight over to being emulated instead of scripted in the next few months. That should fix the gameplay issues. When we do that overhaul, the artists will look into the art issues.
