OK, this is hard for me to pinpoint *the* pinball that got me hooked. I have a bit of a blur in the heady days of the early 90's when I was in High School, because there was an over-abundance of pinball tables in my local area.
I think the first pinball that got me hooked was a Fish Tales down...
Well there's already Game Center on iOS and the PS3 thing, so there is already fragmentation.
And I have seen the other games that Swarm has on Android. Basically the only good ones I've seen so far are Zen Pinball. Aaaaand, Zen Pinball.

I would suggest doing some reading back through old posts to get a real understanding about how Android is where it is today. Particularly the Beta threads. Great info in...
Definitely looking forward to some more emulated old-school tables.
Based on how fun and well-executed Space Shuttle is, I can't wait to try out some more tables that I've never had a shot at before.
One question with these older tables, there isn't much Alpha-blending happening with...
Unfortunately, light shading like this is too resource-intensive to allow for acceptable framerates. It takes too much GPU grunt to do this.
As the game continues to be developed, mobile is being treated to some things that were perceived as impossible up until very recently.

Bye Bye Farsight Leaderboards. Hello Google Play Games...
So Ryan, this should take about 6-8 weeks to implement. Right ;)
Imagine the power of this for tournaments, friend tracking, the list goes on.
And, really, everyone with an Android device already has Google+ "installed" due to the Play...
I'm with S_S on this. You can look at it two ways. A $500 mistake, or a $500 golden opportunity.
Use it as your "roughy" to experiment on and cut your restoration teeth on. Here are some approaches based on what you've told us so far.

Learn from it.

True facts, dagwood.
I checked gumtree for the hell of it (Australia-wide), and there were only shopped tables available. And a few suspicious looking EMs that look more trouble than they're worth.
The fire of refurbishment is rekindling in me, but I don't have the wherewithal to pursue it...
You could spend another $300-$500 getting the game perfect.
Welcome to pinball ownership: kind of like owning a boat, but at least you get to use it more. ;-)
Having watched far too many TNT Amusement YouTube videos about this era of pinball, you need to watch for the following areas on the board.
Picture 1 - looks pretty clean in there!
Picture 2 - this may look a bit "hacky" but doing this battery mod will probably have saved the boards from...
As a heads-up for those on Android, there is a swarm app available, and it is a bit better than the embedded version inside Zen Pinball HD. It is free.
Whenever I've noticed new people join on this forum post, I just jump over to the swarm app and, sure enough, there is the new user's request...
The plunger knob is way bigger than other standard plunger knobs in other Bally/Williams games.
The plunger knob needs to be reduced to be a similar size to Scared Stiff or TOTAN, or any other post 1995 game that uses these ball-shaped plungers.
