I saw the same thing. It makes me think that those are really a different table's scores, and something is getting crossed-up in the call to the servers probably. Like maybe we're seeing people's mobile scores from Bride of Pinbot or Theatre of Magic or Twilight Zone etc. getting posted into...
Same for me except its on the PS3 version. I've watched many weak shots go up that lane and either fall short or apparently have just enough momentum to skip the first lane (since you really can't see back there).
I guess I'll just have to keep playing and hope it happens before long..
EDIT...
Ok, I'm cheating a little by breaking it up by platform but most of these have been stated multiple times before anyway:
All platforms:
1-Fix any major bugs of course
2-Update earlier tables with the current physics model
3-Improve flipper physics to allow advanced techniques
4-Option to filter...
Zen has said many times that they will only do original work, no recreations ever. So there's no need to worry about Zen ever encroaching on Farsight's real table licenses. Getting in the way of a certain franchise on the other hand is a different story.
If Zen were to make a real table from...
Ok, if that's just how they're doing backwards compatibility for PS3 games that's not so bad. Although I would probably just keep the PS3 hooked up to play the old games then.
Great, so the PS4 is going to be a thin client? Wonderful..
At least Farsight has confirmed there will be TPA on the next-gen consoles in the Newsletter, lets just hope it runs locally for pinball's sakes!
I looks like they're doing some work on making it more comfortable, that's promising. The new d-pad looks a lot better, but then the one we have now is terrible. Some of the other new features look interesting..
I've been told that in the past it actually used to be somewhat common for a company to keep paying a deceased employee's pension to a widow.. but times were different back then, or so I've been told.
I'll just start with the top of the list for now and fill in some more later:
1. Medieval Madness
2. Theater of Magic
3. Monster Bash
4. Twilight Zone
More to come after more tables get a fair shake once I play them on the PS3.
Heheh, but didn't they already let him in once?
Edit: Actually come to think of it going there in person would take care of a lot of the potential problems. He wouldn't need to buy his own development box and they could just call him an unpaid intern if Sony has any stupid rules about...
You're probably right about that. I'm sure their test scripts have some basic checks like that the game will launch and not freeze when exiting to XMB etc., but I doubt Sony would actually check gameplay at all.
I bet they could find a lot of volunteer testers on this site, even if it meant...
I use the L2/R2 triggers on the PS3 just because doing so makes the controller sit more comfortably in my hands for long sessions (so no cramping). I think the L2/R2 having a wider range between pressed and unpressed does make it easier to tell the difference between where the main flippers and...
I didn't vote since none of the options reflect my opinion on them. If there was an option for "I like them on some tables but would still like the option to turn them off" or something similar I would have voted for that.
I have to admit, this made me literally lol. The crazy thing is a lot of people would gladly pay $5 for that fix..
Back on topic its good to see the KS supporters get their due, even if it was a couple days late.
