Same for me. The site I found that covers my area (Syracuse, NY) is Pinside.com, but of course there are only a total of 5 tables in the greater Syracuse area that I know of..
I doubt Farsight would pay the fees to do that with the DLC release so close. I think we're just going to have to wait until Feb 5th like you mentioned. I have been waiting to buy a bunch of the DLC for a while (hoping for the PS3 flipper issues to be resolved) but I think its about time to...
I think they're busy with a multiplayer beta for some other type of game..
Back on topic - it looks like I'm going to be wrong again. It doesn't look like we're getting anything on the 22nd..
Try to have patience and not stress over things you can't control. It will only put you in a bad mood when there's nothing you can do to change the situation.
This is all true but there is also a sense of accomplishment in completing the type of wizard mode that can be won and lost. Take Medieval Madness as an example, winning Battle for the Kingdom for the first time certainly has a special feel to it beyond just the point value added to your score.
Of course you're right on both points. I would be more inclined to root if gaming was the primary purpose for the device. But since its not I probably won't.
If they did add key-mapping options I would certainly purchase more tables on Android (I've only bought 2 so far - TZ and STTNG, mostly...
I believe that it really is the Sony / MS console submission processes that are the problem here rather than Farsight, primarily because you hear the same thing from other developers like Zen. So the sad truth is that the consoles will probably always lag well behind mobile releases.
Now that...
While I agree that on some tables the ball can feel just a little bit on the light and floaty side, I also agree that overall its pretty darn close to the real thing. I can't complain.
This post sums it all up perfectly.
I would love to see this type of key mapping built into TPA. I really don't feel like rooting my new Note II for touch-map based controller support.
I was thinking about getting one since its cheap, I like the slide-out keyboard, and it would actually fit in my pocket lol.
So I was wondering if TPA played well on it. Any feedbacK?
Thanks.
Experimenting with some of those settings was a good idea. I tried out all of the settings you listed above on my setup, there was a slight improvement but it was still nowhere near as crisp as playing on the CRT TV. It could make more of a difference on other TVs though so its definitely...
I don't agree with this statement at all. In zero cases I've heard has it been the TV alone that is the problem, as evidenced by the fact that the same TVs can play PHoF and Zen with no input lag whatsoever. This isn't a general TV performance issue, its an issue the TVs have with one...
Interesting - I would have guessed it was something besides an LCD. Two thoughts come to mind, first maybe that TV is just old enough that it doesn't have a bunch of extra processing going on. Second is that its 60hz, both TVs that I have been using are 120hz sets. I should get my old 720p...
Well, I am intrigued by what the update that contains this physics fix will bring now. I guess I'll hold off on buying a CRT TV or an XBOX360 for at least that long lol.
At the risk of making myself sound foolish - is it at all possible that the extra instances of physics updates per frame...
