No, the upper limit on Devil Riders is probably lower, but another poster here hit the leaderboard ceiling on that table. And a few other tables had this problem, too.
But once ASK changes the leaderboard configuration, your score will show up.
Most certainly the upper limit for this leaderboard is set to 1.000.000. ASK can fix this and your score will appear in the list. (IIRC Devil Riders needs to be fixed too.)
The laws of physics are known and constant. :p
I hope they will add a game mode that is more appealing to players who don't like the
current simulation ... but I, for one, like Zaccaria Pinball's challenging and realistic physics simulation.
Nice graphics update!
I used to set the environment colors to a blue tone to make the pure white lightmap effects feel a bit warmer. With the warmer color temperature of the lightmap this looks even better.
I hope iPad 1 is still supported?
(Is the 3rd flipper missing in the 'Winter Sports'...
I don't think an android port would speed up things. ASK seems to be a small studio with limited resources. Maybe they are working on other, more successful and profitable titles first, but that doesn't mean that Zac pinball is dead. Development has just slowed down a little.
Zaccaria Pinball...
I like the physics implementation of Zaccaria pinball because it is unbiased. There are (mostly) no cheats in there, no weird moments of inexplicable ball movements.
It's a game of skill, and you can improve your skills based on the unbiased physics model.
It's almost like real pinball...
The gameplay is a result of the simulated physics and the playfield geometry.
And I think the physics simulation is already the best in this genre. (On mobile). How should it be improved, specifically?
The physics have improved compared with the last (december) release at least where iPad 1 is concerned. The new table (the one my evaluation is based on) appears to be using significantly different physics settings. (the overall model seems to be the same, but the flipper force, for example, is...
I finally found some time to test the new release. (iPad1, based on default physics settings)
The good:
-The new table is fun and demanding. Nudging helps to avoid outlane drains.
-Gameplay on iPad 1 is more fluid compared to the last version.
-Default physics settings seem to be improved...
I think they should add a new 'Cartoon Physics' option so that fans of cartoon physics are pleased. They could sell it as an in-app. Maybe the name should be totally advanced cartoon physics, to underscore the advancement of that particular flavor of physics simulation.
And I hope the other...
NASA themed games: MSL, MER...
Maybe internet memes, doomsday scenarios. Political satire, conspiracy theories, pot...
It certainly was easier in the 70s and 80s
I would like to see good original tables. I don't care for licenses or names, if the layout, rules and artwork are nice and the lighting and physics are great... Yes. But it should be a separate app.
I would like to see a Mac port. There is not one good native Mac pinball sim on the Mac app store.
And a port to Mac could probably be easier than a port to other platforms.
And also the ball behaves more like it's attracted to a strong magnetic field than an actual hole in the playfield. Same with Clown re. the upper left hole. And there is some text missing on the playfield texture.
