There was no change in policy. The policy for the Mac App Store has always been no free trials and no purchases of future content. FS just got away with it for a short while. In fact, you can still get free play of tables from seasons 1 & 2, which is quite odd.
Complaining and the ever-downward pressure on app store pricing is universal. Still, I'd rather develop for iOS than for Android. Or both. Both is good.
2) Locked ball behavior at game over also varies. Some tables, of course, don't mechanically lock at all. Is there a specific table that you have in mind with active slingshots? I do seem to recall one TPA table where the slingshots stay active. That could be the behavior of the real machine, too.
Indeed, where is Eight Ball Deluxe, which many assured me in these very forums was a done deal? I can't see that classic table making the cut, under the new one-table scheme.
