I'm kinda of the opinion that a person isn't a true pinball fan if they can't stand pinball from all era's of pinball. There are good and bad tables from all era's.
I did notice one thing has been fixed in the latest patch with the now de-listed AC/DC.....the random numbers on the match sequence are gone and it now displays properly.
It didn't change anything that matters to the consumers. Just a splash screen change and the removal of the ability to buy AC/DC. I don't think there were ANY game fixes whatsoever.
So they can rush out an update to remove the ability to purchase a table, but couldn't actually fix any remaining issues in the PS4 version.....Black Hole's background sound still not repeating in-game (for example), nor fix the non-repeating intro music on the selection screen. So, as far as...

Personally, (and I say this a lot) TPA is my most cherished app on my PS4. And I am saddened that we may never see any more tables, or very few, released in the future. I do wish they would fix up some of the sound issues that still remain though. Tom Devaney was very vocal and was patching up...
I always figured it should work like this......
Anything legally made during the Bally/Williams license period by Farsight should forever be able to be sold by Farsight, even after the license expired, but they would still have to pay the royalties. It's just that since the license expired...
