No I would hope Farsight would release the game without the bloatware, and then it's goodbye having to click 'Stay in offline mode' every time I load TPA in the cabinet. It is quite horrifying to watch the task manager when Steam is loaded. They have 3 processes on the go, it is constantly...
....and by that time with a bit of luck Steam will have gone bust, and we will be able to play our games with no Steam bloatware infecting our cabinets.
They could also exclude Stern licences from cab support, or tables still in production, etc.
I have said it before and will say it again.... For a pinball sim to not support cabinets is like a driving sim not supporting a cab setup with wheel, gear stick, pedals and multi-monitors. Such a...
We have been asking for years and never got so much as a carrot. Not even adjustable views. Luckily NoEx did the camera mod and then the cab backgkass mod which means the tables that I (and others) previously bought to support Farsight on the premise cab that cab support was coming, aren't...
Funnily enough I did buy one especially to upgrade the cabinet, etc as was using a long cable before :). But due to historical reasons when I built the cab in 2011 with the old VP I used to streamline the PC as much as possible by having no virus checker, no firewall, etc as I didn't want...
lol. We are all a bit pinball obsessed around these parts. Good luck with the cab building when you get to it. I had the IT skills as well but no carpentry skills but with some planning managed to build one. I remember clamps being the most useful tools I bought so would recommend getting...
I just got images of your wife walking into your living room/lounge one day and saying "Where the f*** is my TV you pinball obsessed b'stard".
We've all done it at some point ;)
I had the same problem last night with the Frank table. When table loads the DMD shows correctly, however when I hit start although the window size and position are retained, the DMD is zoomed in. I am using the latest 1.41. I am not at home to try but am wondering if it's due to being in...
Robert has kindly done the work :)

I need to load it up myself, but I know he put the cam file and backgkass in the above thread.
:)
When did Bobby say that about EMs? I must have missed that one.
Playboy Bally 1978 maybe:

TX-Sector is a great table - recently done in VP10 so will be good to see that in TPA. A similar table 'RoboWar' would have been nicer...
The existing UI is much nicer - this new one is way too complex for a video game.
It reminds me of Windows 8 when the start menu was removed, and tiles were added in a totally random order.
I think I will make the current public version of TPA my last update for the cabinet, locked and working...
Their lack of interest of portrait/cabs has always astounded me. The game is so obviously more suited to portrait orientation and any monitor can be rotated with a cheap bracket. If we lived in a world where monitors were portrait by default, then it's like EA demoing their football game in...
