Honestly the table, while being drainy, is a little easier than the real life version in my opinion. Somewhat less lock rejects and some shots are a lot easier to find. Easy nudging too obviously but that goes for all tables. I think Farsight did probably their best conversion with this...
There is a view that lets you see the entire table in portrait. I forget which one but I use it on every table I play. It's the (almost) top down view. I should note though that I use 10:16 aspect ratio. 9:16 might not work the same way, unsure.
Or till it hits the last 24 hours, because you can't back out of a pledge during that period if it would take the total below the maximum.
e: Not that it matters we're trending towards getting over it even with that pledge tomorrow latest.
Blump. I'm going to ask here too since it's been about two months since the last stuff. Any chance we're going to get PC tournaments up in time for the $75 tier backer tournament for TAF?
It says everything above so it would be the gold table + 4 pro tables. I'm honestly more interested in whether the $75 tier tournament will also be available on steam, but I guess they probably don't even know the timeline on PC tournaments at this point. Meh.
Ehh so I was a bit off. The table is going to get funded even if Farsight doesn't release a single bit of further info at this point though with a bit to spare. If they actually announce stretch goals or whatever it'll probably go about 20k over.
e: That obviously depends on what the stretch...
Oh maaan that looks so sweet. Just imagine that with the upcoming DX11 lighting and the higher res on the consumer grade Rifts, whenever they come out I guess.
Only if your lunch lasts for a month :D. That's a nasty bug, but I don't think it's too relevant for scoring.
e: A quick rough calculation actually only give 7.5 days to get the #1 score if it never stops, but I wouldn't expect anyone to leave it running for that long just for that.
Again, kicktraq does not account for the burst of donations that always happen in the last week/last few days. It's not absolutely guaranteed or anything, but going by every kickstarter I've followed so far, it should be reached fairly comfortably.
e: I don't have any solid stats, but I've...
Kickstarters do always get a huge burst at the end as well as the beginning. I don't really see it not making it since it's already over 2/3 of the way there.
Ok finally got it on the third try. It seems to skip giving the achieve really often. It's hilarious how hard it is to intentionally hit the right outline on that table too.
e: Mouseovering seems to indicate it's 0.04% on the percentage. I guess the main listing doesn't show it if it's under 0.1%
Since there's been talk of TotAN I'd like to note that I got the harem/genie battle stack a couple times while testing yesterday on the newest steam version. It seems to be less consistent than in the early versions, possibly because of changes to how the ball lock magnet works, but still...
The entire reason for the kickstarter is that making TAF actually is not profitable because of the licensing fees. If they could just sell enough tables at $5 or whatever and cover the license and make a profit the kickstarter would have no reason to exist. If you don't like the kickstarter...
I think that's on purpose. BSD uses the lightning flipper setup by factory default, which is shorter than normal sized. I think Fish Tales is the only other table currently in TPA that has the same short style flippers.
e: Now that I think about it maybe Creature does too. I can't remember for...
