Interesting. I haven't been able to get the lock backhand consistent enough so I just forehand the lock and then forehand the left orbit for the jackpot instead. It's nice you have different options for doing things though. Only time I backhand the lock is when I'm opening up the locks after a...
The problem is they definitely don't have the resources to make extremely variable versions for different platforms. Getting a cabinet mode and dx11 support is about as much as we can hope for really. Maaaybe higher res textures down the line, which would be really nice. I doubt severely better...
As much as I like Zen's UI and a ton of other stuff about their app structure, their physics are so incredibly terrible I actually got a little disoriented just trying to picture TPA tables with Zen's engine. It would not be pretty.
I don't know why people dislike fish tales. It's incredibly fun because the games don't get that long, and you actually need to apply nudging a whole lot which is rare for a modern table.
My S3 top 3 is #1 BSD, #2 Fish tales, #3 HRC. The rest are varying levels of fun, but have some problems...
I've said this before but it always comes down to this: If you want to play good recreations of tables TPA is the only game in town. And when things work it's incredibly good. Someone might say what about VP and such; the thing is it's incredibly difficult for anyone who isn't really computer...
This sounds like the bug that's been in a bunch of different tables so far but got fixed on the others. The interim solution till it gets fixed was to not touch any buttons while the end animations are playing except for entering your initials, and it should work out normally. This is assuming...
The PC version is the far superior one to every other because you can run it in portrait mode. I went back to PS3 to check things out after 1.5 years of not playing that version and it's just insane how much difference little things like that, and not having flipper delay make. It's like a...
The tops of slingshots lead to outlanes because that's what happens when you hit them. You need to nudge to either hit the inside edge instead or not hit the slingshot at all. That's not anything different from real tables. What is a bit suspect is the lack of any kind of bounce in the...
12 isn't even slated to release for another year. Also they'd actually have to release a windows version worth using to go with it since I'm sure 7 won't support it.
LCA is true terror, man. The things I've seen... *shudder*.
I also hooked up my PS3 and bought the tournament tables I was missing figuring I'd slap it around a bit after over a year of not playing on the platform, and it's kind of crazy how different/harder things are than on the PC. Part of...
Right we're not talking about the same thing though. TPA already counts rollovers of the ROM's internal scoring on most tables for leaderboards purposes. It however stops counting after some point on tables, which in the case of TNG is 1 trillion points. I believe TNG handles up to 100B...
Hi, I was thinking of an idea that it might be kind of useful, and possibly easy to implement depending on how the game actually counts up your score for leaderboards. It'd just be a button in the menu which while playing simply outputs the actual score of the current ongoing game. There are a...
One more data point here for trillion rollover not working. I'm pretty sure it's just not enabled at all (on steam at least) or some people would have gotten it by now.
