Is there any chance of us getting some patch notes of the fixed problems so that we don't have to go through each table seeing if the numerous problems have been fixed?
Well from a realistic standpoint it is terrible. If they cannot get the game on a massive distribution network like Steam, then the PC version is basically doomed to obscurity and much lower sales.
Don't joke about that, I have one of the Slim models of the PS3 and it gets hot enough to greatly soften any of the cables I have plugged in the back. Any extreme pinball action could cause spontaneous combustion. :D
But did they not realize how much this can have a major impact on gameplay? On some tables, the designers made them transparent for a reason. Take a look at this screenshot from the PS Vita version. It is simply impossible to see what is going on above the right outlane. You cannot see which...
Agreed. At this point we have more than enough tables to play that all releases should get pushed off to fix all the current problems and hopefully prevent them in future tables.
This seems like even more proof that there is a flipper lag issue with the PS3 (at least at 1080p). The Pinbot targets are a very late shot of the left flipper which would happen more often than not if there were a delay.
Champion Pub is an amazing pinball machine. I played on at a local bowling alley and it was a lot of fun. However, if this table is to be an enjoyable experience care and detail need to be put into all of the models on the table. Based on the last few DLC releases, FS is no where near able to...
It disappoints me to see the Vita have such low sales. Aside from the overpriced proprietary memory cards, the system is fantastic and has so much potential when linked with the PS3. If Sony bundled it with the system, they could make the Wii U completely irrelevant.
As an individual with large hands, I would love to see this happen. The PS3 controller design is so bad that it makes my hands and wrists ache after very short sessions (~20 minutes) which is not acceptable in TPA considering how long you can play on some tables. So far I have had no problems...
The only thing that sucks is conversely, I have 3 friends who have not bought the DLC on the Vita after seeing how bad tables like BoP and CV are on it. At this point I have become the DLC "guinea pig" since I am the only one who has faith that FS will eventually fix all of these major problems.
I would much rather have FS switch from large volume to high quality in terms of the software. I would love to see more statistics available (ie. total games played, average score per table, etc.) as well as tournaments and challenges. In addition, I hope that there is a greater focus on bug...
Thanks for explaining that and I fully agree that this needs to be implemented. I find the current 2-stage flippers on tables like Funhouse to be very annoying due to the amount of pressure it takes to fire the upper flipper when using R1/L1 as the flipper buttons. The current 2 stage flipper...
I think one of the core gameplay issues the abundance of extra balls the tables provide. When I am doing a top 50 highscore run on any table, I will sometimes have 3 or more extra balls saved up which takes away any pressure of a drain since I know there are 5 balls remaining each with the...
I just launched a game on Black Hole and noticed that the corkscrew ramp leading to the lower PF is there now. I have removed the image and will update it when I have a chance. Thanks FS for dealing with that, at least this is a good sign that these problems will eventually get fixed.
Well I finally purchased the DLC pack with Taxi/HD and both of those tables look pitiful compared to the launch tables. There are several major issues with Taxi that stand out no more than 5 seconds into the game, which I have addressed by editing my post above. All of these graphical issues...
Finally put up a 9 Billion score on BoP and was still on ball 1 with about 3 extra balls still saved up. I really could have kept going for a long time, but I couldn't due to the roll-over problem on the Vita where your score goes back to 0. Feels great to finally get that one last personal...
