I am in Europe so just was going test out the speed fix in the 1.70.20 patch but it looks like it was rolled back? It would have been worthwhile allowing more of us to try that patch first because I don't think Jamman39 has the exact same issue. Also it looks like Jamman39 confirmed it was...
For me the stretching in the top half of the playfield looks good when viewing the playfield at at angle that you would view it in a real cab (ie: what it's designed for) From what I understand the stretching is there to create an illusion of depth when viewed from a standing at a cab angle...
For my DESKTOP setup which has the speed issue that I have been reporting I have two monitors both running at 1920 x 1080 60hz. The playfield is connected using HDMI to HDMI. The backglass monitor is HDMI to DVI. Incidentally if I completely detach the backglass monitor and disable it in the...
It seems that the better the PC specs the slower the new views.
Another guy over on Steam said this:

FlippyFloppy : Have the Devs had any luck reproducing this issue yet?
I also sent an email to them about the FPS speed issue with the new views, saying I would request a refund if the major issues don't end up getting fixed. By major I mean smooth gameplay in the new views but be possible.
They dodged the question although they did respond quickly to be fair...
Thanks for mentioning it - any ideas welcome as it might be the thing that sorted it for you. I did try the fullscreen/windowed options as well. Even tried doing an Alt-Return to force a fullscreen but still no joy.
I upgraded to the latest nVidia driver and still get same framerates:
Hardware/OS:
* Windows 7 64-bit
* nVidia GTX 1060 6GB
* Core i5-2400 - 8GB RAM
GeForce 398.11 drivers (clean install):
1 - 30-31 fps
2 - 30-31 fps
3 - 30-31 fps
4 - 60 fps
I also tried unplugging/plugging in monitor and no...
Hi -I put that info in the first post of this thread, along with a video showing it happening. It happens with both the 2 and 3 screen setup. My setup can play all games at Max settings including modern steam titles.
Let me know if you need any other info.
Thanks for suggestion. I did try the max perf setting along with some others but still it stay locked at 30 for those 3 views. Even reducing the graphics down it still locks at 30.
Will check out the afterburner tmrw. Cheers
Thanks for that. I was testing on a Win7 so not sure if that's it. Farsight posted on Steam saying they are looking at it as it affects a few of us, so will see what they find.
Yes please that would be really great and should help me. I am tearing my hair out trying all kinds of things and no matter what I do (eg: decrease graphic settings, etc.) the FPS is locked to 30 for all views except the flat one. Knowing the 4 FPS values for each view for you (using the Steam...
For the cost of the upgrade none of the views should really be laggy with a decent graphics card and CPU. It really seems to be a software optimisation issue. It would be interesting to know your 4 FPS values for each view (just for one table) just to see how they compare. I used Doctor Who...
Thanks. I set it to Bottom Left under the steam options, but then I also needed to enable the 'In-Game Overlay' under the Pinball Arcade properties to see it.
Interestingly I get these FPS values:
View 1 (3D) : 30-31
View 2 (3D) : 30-31
View 3 (3D) : 30-31
View 4 (Flat) : 60
The values are...
Hopefully it is still working smoothly for you for all the 4 views selectable with the 'C' key. . When you mentioned it was unplayable with a low-frame rate, was that with the 3 '3D' views? Was the 4th 'flat' view playing smooth for you?
Would be interesting to see what your config settings...
I am with you there. Have wanted official cab support for so long but the new views are totally unplayable for me (as per my video), so if it can't be fixed (fingers crossed it can) I will ask for a refund.
