I was just trying to be optmistic with that whole comment about DMD's, but much like Indy 500, Corvette sounds like a totally doable license. And Rollergames too, who knows?
But yeah, it's best to expect something like Banzai Run or Swords of Fury. Both of which are great tables.
Are those guys still alive? Here's hoping they're working on Big Race USA, it's my favorite and I still play it to this day. It even had controller support which is cool, but this old version stutters a lot on modern PC's.
I just want an Ultra remaster real bad.
It's probably not as popular as it used to be, since arcades are so damn rare now, but there are dedicated groups of people who collect machines in private clubs, like in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. They gather often and run tourneys and stuff.
I can't afford a machine, much less pay a monthly...
Yeah, that's for sure. Apparently, this is the time limit they had in the Major League Pinball tourney.
But the weirdest part is how I never took part in it! Not to mention in at a severe disadvantage compared to everybody else.
I think they were aiming for a more old school-kinda feel with those outlanes. Back in the day there weren't any, so pinball was a lot harder.
Also, Swords of Fury and Banzai Run are pretty awesome. Yet they still aren't in the game...
I'll take any Williams table at this rate. They're just sorely missing in this season, and that's sad. FS needs to renew that license ASAP.
How about Space Station?
I was a big fan of REM, myself. A shame the band broke up and we'll never see their own pinball table now. :(
To this day, I still regret not seeing 'em live when they came to my city.
